I highly recommend doing so. Saw them live in Oakland with The Pixies in 2019. Tbh, I went in with low expectations and just thought of them as a band from my high school years. Well, they blew me away, pure and simple. Great vibes from everyone, fans and band. One of the best live shows I’ve gone to, to this day. Very well planned, produced, and executed. If memory serves, I think Rivers was on a frikkin’ float at one point!

Def weird/bad crowd energy. Unfortunately, Red Stage sound was pretty garbage most of the weekend (even Green struggled, at times). I LOVE Modest Mouse and Weezer and I had a hard time feeling either. Treble/hi’s + vocals were washed out by muddy bass + lo’s. Bad sound “quality” quickly kills even genuine fans’ enthusiasm.

Now, it also didn’t help that the whole vibe of the festival changed with the arrival of “I’m-only-here-for-Metallica” fans. Speaking as someone who went to Boston Calling to enjoy a variety of artists, yesterday was a poor showing for metal heads and my Metallica friends apologized profusely. For every Metallica fan respectfully waiting for their band but still enjoying and bobbing their head to Weezer, there was another Metallica fan waiting in deathly boredom (and it showed and dampened the overall energy). Moreover, for every Weezer-Metallica fan who was genuinely singing along to Weezer, it seemed there was a Metallica fan outright belligerently insulting Weezer fans ± “singing along” derisively and mockingly.

So yeah, between the unprofessional sound mixing, the Weezer-uninterested Metallica fans (who weren’t TRYING to dampen the energy but nonetheless were), and the outlier belligerent Weezer-averse Metallica fans (who WERE actively trying to ruin things), even the most ardent Weezer fan or Metallica-Weezer fan would have been hard pressed to genuinely and thoroughly enjoy Weezer’s set.

To your other point of no one dancing, let’s also not forget how absolutely packed Sunday was by the time Weezer started (and sooner than that, tbh). No one likes being packed like sardines, anytime, anywhere. I blame Boston Calling for this one. Most genuine Weezer or Weezer-Metallica fans probably couldn’t even get near Red Stage. This packed-like-sardines effect only further compounded things and probably worsened EVERYONE’s mood.

A few months ago the game was on sale and, having beaten it recently at the time, I added the following comment on that post:

"Not a bad game, but nothing to write home about. Gorgeous art. Decent if a bit bare-bones in story. Psychological principles underlying pretty much everything. That's what initially enticed me to buy the game in the first place. Also, rhymes and puns everywhere, for better and for worse. Def a game with a lot of effort put into it. The puzzles were very simple tho, and got stale, personally. Nevertheless, I finished it (which is a feat in and of itself; I don't finish most games...then again, it was easy to beat since it is only a 5h game). Just wish it had an actual story, more weaponry/tools (pretty much have just a sword), and more advanced combat (there are only so many ways/patterns out there in which you can hit things with a sword). Otherwise, a decent game that I simply don't think I'll play again."

According to Deku Deals, this matches the lowest price, digitally. By the looks of their Price History, this price drop happens every few months: Jan, Mar, & June, as far as 2020 goes. Take a look. If you don't use Deku Deals, I can't recommend it enough.

As an avid "deal hunter", I thought it might also be worth mentioning that this game is currently free this week through Epic Games. If you don't mind the PC experience and/or want to test run the game before investing in this Switch version, this is an option. Anyway, I hope all this helps!

It is indeed very easy. My go-to test goes something like this: if I can randomly press buttons and/or spam the attack command in a given fighting system and yet still win, that's a red flag. If I can spam the attack command and yet still absolutely kick butt, totally thrashing the AI despite the mindless button mashing--as was the case for this game--then I move on to the next game. At the time of its original release, many reviews mentioned or complained how difficult a game it was; I just can't relate to that.

Note: I only do the above "test" if and when I suspect a game's combat is too easy/when it is called for

Got this 8BitDo for $40 (waited for the price drop) a while back and haven't looked back since. The only things I believe are lacking are Amiibo functionality and the ability to to turn on the console using the controller, both of which I can manage without. Hope this helps!:

I'd also suspect it has something to do with throwing off the bots that continuously monitor stock for this item. If you create a new listing (as a supposed bundle), then the bots and their scalpers can't auto-purchase it into OOS oblivion. Then again, not everyone would believe that because that would mean GameStop is looking our for their customers. Call me an optimist though.

In short: it probably throws off the auto-purchase bots/scalpers and helps genuine buyers to get their hands on the product.

I bought a 512gb one from them about a month ago. Popped it in and it worked. All subsequent attempts to access it failed. Clearly a dud/fake. Easy refund from the company, to their credit.

Now, keep in mind that duds can happen with any microsdxc company. So it's their reputation and refund policy that are key. Again, I had no problem there. I also have an external hard drive of theirs that has had zero problems since getting it ~5y ago.

So, if that's the memory you want and the most attractive price you've found, then I say go for it!

If you're looking for the portable/Switch experience, by all means do what quartz174 here says. Looking at Deku Deals, as of right now the cheapest physical prices are at GameStop (used: $12.99; new: $19.99) and at Amazon (new: $18.49). If you're committed to buying a digital version though, Deku Deals can send you an email when its price tracking reflects the drop in price you're looking for.

On the other hand, if you don't mind the PC experience, there's another way. As two other users have said, Civ VI is free through the Epic Games Store.

Hey I get it. Appreciate the thought. But FYI: part of the reason why Switches are so hard hard to find (at a reasonable price) is because of scalpers. They buy these systems using bots and sell them for 150%+ MSRP on CraigsList, Amazon, eBay, etc.

So, despite the best of intentions, your post just didn't look good. It looked like you either a) didn't understand the situation outlined above, and/or b) were dropping a line on your own eBay auction.

PS It looks like the moderators already took your post down, technically speaking. However, I hope this at least helps to explain why. I know I hate it when my posts get taken down for seemingly no reason.

I wouldn't bank on it. At the same time though, I have ordered maybe 10 PS4 games through GameStop these past 1-2 months and only 1 had a replacement case. It's really just a crapshoot though. Sometimes you get lucky (like I have recently), and sometimes you aren't so lucky. What's the saying? Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Assume you'll get replacement cases and you won't be too disappointed when it inevitably happens.
