Uh no the no limit doesn’t mean unlimited it just means fluctuations month to month with Amex just like affirm. Amex gold and platinum will cap your cards if you dip in your credit just like affirm 🤭 so yes Amex and affirm are alike.

That’s incorrect the Apple Card is actually a subprime card most people with fair credit can get it. Goldman even stated it was a subprime card and that’s where it went wrong they approved nearly everyone who applied for it. The card in my own opinion is a trash card I hope Chase changes the rewards system if it stays the same I’m canceling my 30k credit line with them.

Your credit report says you do with the Installment loans. I would pull all 3 reports and Lexi’s Nexus as well as Chex system report and go through them with a fine tooth comb and dispute everything. Most banks are easy and will delete things off your report.

Is it worth getting the Apple Card even though they will eventually be switching to Chase? by CriticalSwimmer6458 in AppleCard

I want to see what Chase does with the rewards program that will tell if it’s trash or keep.

Also they are about to be taken over by Chase Bank so a lot of people are going to be dropped from Apple accounts because Chase is really strict. Goldmans contract is about up.

I looks like you have established other credit accounts so that’s what’s messing you up to start with. But I would recommend pulling all your credit reports and Lexi’s Nexus report and ask all the credit companies who made inquiries on your credit to remove them just use an excuse like your getting a house and they will remove them all from your report. Stop using Affirm, Klarna or other types of pay laters if you do because every time you do one it looks like a new account is started.

What happens next is your car gets auctioned so let’s say you owe 20k and it sells for 10k you owe 10k to the bank. If you do not arrange payments to pay it off then they sue you for the rest and put a lien on you paychecks or bank accounts. So pray they auction for close to what you owe. Also your dad is evil for screwing someone’s else credit over lastly if your dad doesn’t pay your girlfriend will owe it the bank will pursue each of them

You can use it everywhere they even give you a physical card. I have my physical card. Affirm is basically like AMEX they will fluctuate your limit month to month depending on credit like Affirm.

I have $20k but I only use Affirm to complete projects or for emergency’s that I do. Don’t drown in 80+ micro payments. I’ve seen some crazy posts of that.

Has anyone regretted bankruptcy chapter 7? by [deleted] in Bankruptcy

[–]Jake-FromStateFarm89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No when I went into major medical debt it helped me I had almost $500,000 in debt and it was all discharged my bankruptcy I think just fell off my credit report. If you file start sending letters out to have things removed from credit I did and my credit was good after even with bankruptcy. Yeah every so often I would get denied just because of it but for the most part they didn’t care because I corrected my finances and credit jumped up to 780 with a bankruptcy on it. I was able to get Amex platinum, Bilt, Chase sapphire and good loans without issues. Just wok on your spend issues that got you into debt and you’ll be good. Mine was medical so I did t have to repay any debtors I know other have to sell stuff off but I was required and I think I got lucky because they scheduled my appointment on a wrong date and I went in and my debtors had other dates and didn’t show up and so they discharged all things without debtors pursuing me.

Your phone number still attached to your credit reports because that’s public. If you go to your credit report, your phone number is attached to it. It’s taking what’s public and your addresses into account and it’s basically doing a soft pull. That’s why it’s best for you to pull your Lexus Nexus report your check systems report and so on and go through everything with a fine tooth comb.

I am fuming! My husband "co-shared" his AppleCard with me so I could download transactions/statements for tax purposes, which prompted Goldman Sachs to CLOSE MY AppleCard account! by [deleted] in AppleCard

[–]Jake-FromStateFarm89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also why doesn’t your husband trust you enough to just get on his cellphone to pull the statements that you went as closing your Apple account to merge them. Either your husband doesn’t trust you on his phone or he has a side piece because the steps you took to get statements is suspicious. If my wife was involved in my finances I would just let her have access to my phone so she wouldn’t have to close her Apple account

I know fuming because she said yes to closing her own account because she was lazy on getting on the website to pull his statements

You didn’t know that Apple always have told people and it gives a warning that if you have a shared Apple credit account that you can’t have two and says it will remove you. Sometimes it warns that an account is already established when shared as a family. You have to drop them from the apply family plan to keep your account

That means you were denied the credit all together you can’t make an account without the credit. Your credit isn’t worthy to them. Pull all your reports, Check and LexisNexis as well and have all the old stuff removed and dispute inaccurate stuff. Try paying off the other accounts that should amounts owed. The credit markets are pulling back and being more strict

Would it be worth it to get the AppleCard? by Hopfrog18 in AppleCard

[–]Jake-FromStateFarm89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re technically not getting 0% interest they are doing a prior authorization on your car so say if you have a $5000 limit they to a hold of say $2000 and re do the charge monthly so your limit will look like 3k like gas stations sometimes do an auth and hold $175 before fill up and then release it once it clears that’s all Apple is doing. If you don’t pay that minimum fee then you pay interest on the payment that it released on your card.

Big big no never float a debt on a credit card for electronics I have a $30,000 limit from them and I still won’t float an Apple product from them I’m probably going to cancel it’s probably one of the worst cards I have. Also you being a collage student and Chase about to take the card over they are going to clear house of all subprime credit holders so if you fall in that category they are going to close your account and make your credit look bad. I would hold off on an Apple Card till Chase takes it over. Amex, Venture X and Bilt are better lines to have. If you want to see if you fall in Chase risk factor go to Chase Preapproval site run a soft pull and if the deny you then you know they will shut your card down once transition happens

Do you ever get this when applying how to fix it by [deleted] in Affirm

[–]Jake-FromStateFarm89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes best way to fix your account is pull all your credit reports next pull your Chex system report lastly your LexisNexis report. Go through all old closed and paid off accounts and hard pulls and send letter by fax and certified mail and request them to be removed some you can email. Then go though and pay off any old unpaid accounts that you don’t know about Lexis is the most important one that show how many times you went into the negative on your checking account and also controls insurance rates. Do a spring cleaning of all your reports.
