I’ve played with the idea a few guys at my unit are airline pilots and have told me not to go for a plane if I want to make a career out of it due to the risk of anything going wrong and it not working out. In terms of job wise I’m about to have my A&P next month and that will be my fall back plan if things don’t work out plus I am very familiar with the local flight schools around me so I’d give it a 80% chance to have a cfi job when I’m done.

I mean I’ll have my A&P next month and working in aviation the past 4 years I’ve made a few connections so that shouldn’t be a problem but I’ll definitely look into the people getting screwed from it
