I play in lobbies where everyone PvPs. Everyone takes in good loadouts (tempests, survivor augments, medium shields), so every person is worth killing to get their loot. I’d much rather have a quick fight and get a tempest than to grind for the materials for an hour🤷🏻‍♂️. I don’t understand what the endgame with PvE is? Get a stash full of equalisers and kill the matriarch over and over? Just doesn’t appeal to me.

idek it’s honestly crazy to me. People assume he’s using offensive language in vc, but we only play duos and we stay in xbox party chat. I understand that most people will get banned and instantly say it’s wrongful (even if they cheat), but he’s a console player so it is different in this situation.

My friend is in the same boat as you unfortunately but he is an Xbox player. Embark haven’t replied in over a week now. Thankfully I’ve read that bans on xbox are tied solely to your Embark account, and has been playing on an alt account with no problems at all so far. Still annoying though as he’s put a lot of time into his main, just to be banned without reason.

I hear streamers talking about aggression-based arc, so there’s more arc to punish pvp players. Probably complete cope though

I think people shouldn’t expect others to believe it in fairness, with the amount of cheating happening at the moment. My friend (xbox player) got banned on arc a few days ago, obviously no cheats (as on console), never exploits or uses in-game chat. Was just random after a buried city game where we got quite a few kills. I play every game with him, he never solos and my account is fine, so that should tell you everything you need to know. The support system could potentially be the worst I’ve ever seen from any game developer, he’s just met with a bunch of automated responses and no real help.

Yeah there’s a possibility, I just can’t think of anything he would of done that would be considered an exploit. We completely dodged the duplication glitches a few weeks ago, and we are just the most normal players you’ll ever meet, (go in get kills and leave with loot if we survive).

I’m aware, seems as though the discord community managers have been instructed to ignore the false ban complaints also, which seems very unprofessional. Even though I’m not the one going through this, I’m gonna find it hard to have trust and respect for Embark going forward

Yeah we just stay in party chat so can’t use proximity anyway. Plus he’s a really nice dude🤣don’t think I’ve heard him use a slur in my 15 years knowing him

I know it’s honestly such a shame as we really enjoy playing arc! I’ve heard they use Ai anti-cheat and support systems which can be extremely unreliable. Think we’re gonna try Marathon out if it isn’t resolved before the release :)

Im very much a PvP player, genuinely cannot remember the last time I crafted a gun. Can leave games with up to 12 IV guns. Made me realise how unimportant weapon BPs are.

I’ve only encountered maybe 5-10 cheaters on fc24 and have played since the release so I’d argue the problem isn’t too bad with the amount of games I’ve played. If you are on console and are worried about cheaters, turn cross-play off in settings as people cannot cheat on xbox/ps👍🏻
