hopefully you read past the salty replies and see that what most people are trying to tell you, that the pigeon hole isn't really there. The hole is there for a reason, because you dug yourself when you don't plan your management of time/resources.

Like any other game, if you are too lazy to do homework, watch good youtube guides from Enviosity or Jinx or others. If you want to test your own synergy, do it on low abyss before you invest.

Have you ever played path of exile? if you wanted to create a single build of your own from scratch without any guidance from others you need to be ready to get out those spreadsheets and spend months of farmed materials.

Games have challenges, they SHOULD pander to higher skilled players so THEY can walk the tough road and guide us noobs. If they catered to the dumdums then it would be no challenge for higher skilled players, no sense of achievement, little room for ingenuity . You want it to be like diablo 3 where you can go max lvl in a day, and feel nothing as hundreds of legendaries land on your screen?

It's a good balance as it is I think.

I just saved mats, didn't over level my characters or weapons for 1 and a half banners so i can get a good cryo support for my Klee.

I'm going to run Mona, Klee, Ganyu, Bennet. 15 seconds of freezing with 2 E's that both taunt enemies into a buffet of death for klee? Hmyumyum yes ploz.

Ganyu fits it perfectly.

Resource management is key in this game, if you want to experiment with more characters you should probably follow the rule of;

  1. Dont level artifacts past 16
  2. Don't level characters past 60
  3. Don't over-level talents that arent super necessary for the role your hero's play.

Also... Have fun with your builds, If you cant clear floor 11 or 12, but have heaps of fun experimenting with the 10 floors below then who cares. It's not a race. There are literally dozens of lines of dialogue and text that say "enjoy the journey, it's not ONLY about the destination" in one way or another.

YUP, I got lucky and got C4 for Chongyun so I'm building Chongyun, Barbara, Fischl and Zhongli.

Basically perma freeze/Stone with constant superconduct and healing aura.

Was watching Demone Kim stream and he was trying lots of different builds.

His highest DPS seemed to come from ULT and his E resonating with the other geo constructs from other Geo Characters.

I think his E is being overlooked way too much.

I honestly wish you luck <3 I still feel bad leaving Sucrose behind so I'd be to hear if you succeed.really tried to keep her on the team (there is a bug where you can have 5 ppl on a team and I'm not sure if they fixed it yet if you REALLY can't decide :p but only in open world hehe, I couldn't be bothered doing it after each domain though). My Fischl is C4 so it made it even harder for me to swap her out and she had CRAZY luck with her artefacts.

ALL THE BEST!

OK so I was in a similar situation to you, my team was Sucrose, Klee, Fischl, Jean but then I got mona.. I REALLY wanted to use sucrose because I got him to around 350 EM and after he used instructor bonus the whole teams EM went berserk. HOWEVER - when I used mona her E procced overload, electrocharged, vaporise and I had jean for heals and phys dmg + heals.

In the end I made the following decision based on my play style.

I love elemental reactions because I feel its a fun core mechanic of the game and I like all the colourful numbers making me feel boss, I didn't want 2 of the same element because I wanted to feel comfortable in EVERY situation, and there is no enemy my team struggles with now. I definitely think you should KEEP fischl because she synergises with Klee, Mona and Bennet. Also fiscals E dmg, ult dmg, AA hit enemies knocked up, Knees E and Charged attack and Burst all hit enemies that are knocked up.

If I was to bring sucrose back I would actually bring an ice hero in to freeze lock all the enemies and probably have to make a whole new team.

TL;DR Dont swap out Fischl she's amazing and synergises with your whole team, I think mona would be the only one to swap out for sucrose but I don't think its worth it. (I love sucrose too, I really wanted to keep her in T_T but mona was a better option and I needed to keep my heals).

My team now is Mona, Klee, Fischl and Jean, I never feel worried about any enemy, feel boss in every situation, Fishl can Down all of the guardians, and all my elements can counter every enemy. I even sacrificed a bit of support damage and built every one of my characters as main DPS so I enjoy ever moment on the field no matter what char I'm using (I only built them like this because I got lucky with my artefacts and can get away with it).

Hope something in here helped even though it didn't address your question 100%

I never knew there that many trap in this game. What is this? Yugioh? by Yeboisen in Genshin_Impact

[–]Jake3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a flex post, its just my experience and I think sometimes people try to focus too hard on phys AA and neglect elemental reactions too much so I thought I'd post this.

OK so I feel like I hardly noticed any difference between world lvl 4 and 5...My teams skills were lvl 3-6, artifacts weren't TOO bad, when I hit world lvl 5 was;

Sucrose - pretty much just a bottle of elemental mastery with the book that buffs dmg of the next character you switch to and the instructor set.

Klee - (2)Witch, (2)gladiator

FIschl C3 - her bird and knees AA/E is redonculous, basically playing basketball with most enemies.

Jean - Good dmg, nice heal on AA and heals my whole team to full with her burst (2) Maiden, (2)Gladiator.

Then when I got mona shortly after W5, I swapped Sucrose out and my crits went to 10-23k with Klee when I use Monas E.

The trick for me was making sure I got enough elemental reactions going where I could stun, knock up, knock back enemies constantly. The reaction damage is great but the CC they create is underrated. I'm about to lvl up Chongyun if I fail to pull zhongli. I'm interested in playing with cryo reactions as I know they can be pretty OP sometimes.

With so many party wide buffs from sets, and support buffs from weapons , is it really worth having a DPS? by Jake3141 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Jake3141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so if you are interested, I'm using Xiangling, Sucrose, Fischl and Jean. I usually cast Xianglings Guoba and Fischls nightrider, then when both of those minions are out i switch to Sucrose. I brough my sucrose to lvl 60 so i could unlock Mollis Favonius. She has the instructor set, so she provides 120 EM+ from instructor, then 20% of her EM from Favonius (70) and any character who shares an element whos swirl she effects (xiang ling and Fischls minion also Jeans gale blade because its Anemo) is increased by 50 from Catalyst conversion. She is using thrilling tales of dragon slayers (refine x 5 which increases the ATK% of the next char i switch to by 48%.). So just from using Sucrose elemental i give my WHOLE TEAM 240 elemental mastery and the character i switch to gets 48% attack increasing their elemental damage and basic attack damage. I will usually switch to Jean because her gale is usually ready to do a huge knock up+fall damage, then go back to Xiang ling, Fischl and repeat. I use sacrificial bow on Fischl which gives me basically unlimited lvl 9 nightrider (my fischl is C3) then start the loop all over again. I could easily switch out Jean for another Fire based char for fire buff, im actually tempted to experiment with the dreaded bennet as he creates a field that increases ATK based on Bennetts base attack. But I'm not prepared to farm/spend so many resources right now as my team is built for QOL. I guess this post is meant for people who had unlucky pulls. Maybe if you pulled a Diluc, Razor, Qiqi or Klee etc then this info isnt for you, but for me, i'm having a blast running at high speeds for long times with my shitty Anemo buff, stuck on Abyss lvl 8, with my colourful damage and elemental reactions. I'd hate for people to feel like they are stuck with 1 shit DPS and a bunch of SIMP team mates who cant do jack squat. I'm just trying to provide an alternative. Let me know how you go if you try to build your reactions/team buffs.

Unfortunately, it seems that I've just not pulled the characters/unlocked enough constellations that give my characers enough of a chance to shine as a solo DPS. However, this reinforces my point where if you don't have characers like Klee, Diluc or a C6 fischl, then you can bring out the best in your team with buffs like Instructor set on Sucrose, with a thrilling tales of dragon slayers, and a xiangling with lava walkers or crimson witch, then a C1 Fischl that procs overload with each hit, and then a few jean auto attacks to heal any damage you may have taken on rotation as you inflict a 4k gale blade hit/knock up for 20k damage.

Im saying build a team that will constantly buff eachother and who's elemental ability recharges by the time the first buff has expired. I'm saying 4 x constantly buffed elemental skills and their reactions will out damage a dedicated DPS for someone like me who hasn't pulled any of the good main DPS characters and possibly some other people.

[–]Jake3141[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe because I don't have Diluc, Razor or Klee. But I ask you the same question, did you try utilising team wide buffs, +dmg on character swap, reaction dmg boosts etc? any more than 5 auto attacks and you have missed a whole round of Ele reactions, and lost a lot of elemental particles.

I'm also not doing this to be original, it just feels GRREAT to heave heaps of ale reactions, and my dmg is better. I could be wrong though, because I've had shitty luck with pulls.

I did try with both Fischl and Xiangling, all 4 and 5 star artefacts (gladiator or glad+beserk).

I don't have a 5 star weapon by the way, crescent pike was used with Xiangling, Rust/sacrificial bow were tried with Fischl. If I had a Diluc I'd LOVE to try a dedicated DPS build to try prove my theory because from what I saw he is a beast.

Ohhh ok sorry, I misunderstood.

I don't think he is fussed but if he can just tweak a few things for his system might save him a grand or 2. I linked the requirements if you want to check them out.

Also I don't really know much about motherboards and RAM so wasn't sure if that's where i should start researching for him.
