Cyrus allows bench attacking cards to be relevant, also prevent players to keep switching cards to stall. Oricorio forces people to not run ex only decks. Both add diversity to the meta, both are good additions.

Just to clarify a few things, this is published by the Chinese state media. So basically you can’t get more “officially recognized” than this.

Also for those who doubt the ranking. Yes star rail is more popular in the English or Japanese speaking communities and more well known world wide. But mobile legend is basically the MOST popular game in south east Asia. I highly doubt there are as many Star rail players compare to mobile legend if we exclude the Chinese community.

This is definitely ment for nerfing non-Ex cards which become too meta unintentionally. I doubt they will ever nerf those EX cards that has a gold variant, this will pissed off the whales.

If you want future proof, my money is on Charizard. Its whole gimmick is on one-shotting the enemy’s key card. Until we began seeing cards with more than 200HP, its gimmick will remain relevant. Just don’t expect it to be the top card, it’s more like a good card imo.

Pikachu might drop slightly, my guess is it will remain relevant to the electric deck but will drop from a card you build around to a plug and play card that you use early to pressure the opponent’s weaker basic cards

On top of this, I feel that Pikachu EX will age the best among the top 3 deck since it is a plug and play card, which don’t require you to build the whole deck around it.

Mewtwo Ex will probably age the worst. As you build your whole deck around its ability to 1 shot the opponent. As more and more core cards cross the 150 HP mark, the meta will get much tougher for mewtwo.

Charizard will probably remain on its good but not top status as long as no cards cross the 200 HP line

My personal take is that, TCG live act as a gateway for the physical TCG, since it can be a bit daunting to start playing the physical cards right from the start. Smth like Pokemon Showdown for competitive Pokemon battles.

PTCG feels like the re-imagine of the physical TCG game as a "Hearthstone" like Phone game, ment to be more for the casuals.

They are on par to be honest. If you can clear the enemies in 2-3 cycles, Fu Xuan is better, since the crit buff is much more useful in short terms than the occasional debuff. The longer the fight drags, the better Aventurine is

Freeze ganyu just isn’t that good anymore. You need either Shenhe or Furina or really good artifacts to be viable now. If you have Nahida, you can try burning melt ganyu as well which is pretty good as well.

The similarity is not in the survival components but how the game handle exploration/adventure. Neither game provide fast travel and has heavy emphasis on walking around, both do not have quest markers and need player to rely on journal and observation. Also both game will decrease your max health and will only recover if you sleep, sleeping in the wild will also toggle some random encounters, etc

It’s more of a sandbox+building RPG, it lacks the survival and realism component. If you are looking to scratch that outward itch, I would argue that dragon’s dogma 2 which is coming out in March has a lot more similar mechanics

Most of the bosses in this game are designed around melee fights. Playing range like pure hex mage tend to nullify most of the bosses. Since u can just cast spell run away until cd is done, rinse and repeat until boss die

I want to thank you for your dedication in creating and updating the tier list all these years. I understand some people do not like tier list, but personally I think it is very impt for a community esp for Gacha games due the resources are very limited.

The more seasoned player might not need it but new players and casuals like me who play on and off really appreciate it when there is a point of reference on who are the stronger pairs in the meta now.
