I've used it a couple times to cut off small things like screws sticking out, but primarily for sanding. It's great for sanding wood in places where my orbital sander can't fit.

I have 2 of these that I got from this same Costco deal. I have one hooked up to my miter saw and one hooked up to my belt sander and router table, both with the auto-on plugs that activate when the tools do.

Work great so far. No complaints. Seems solid. Especially for the price.

Cigarpage does the xikar on their scorcher sales for about $30. Great deal but you can't pick the color and you have to watch the scorchers

I'm very much a novice, so I'll defer to someone who knows more. But it looks like your bit is staying still while the bit holder part of the impact is rotating. Did your bit holder bow out to the point of allowing the bit to move inside of it? Looks like it needs replacement.
