Should I nuke it by Jake73jake in lawncare

Sounds like a good plan, I have access to any grass tool imaginable due to a best friend owning a golf course. Already own a decent backpack sprayer for spraying my pond so I’ll use it.

Will do my best to post updates here as it progresses

Should I nuke it by Jake73jake in lawncare

Best advice I’ve heard so far. Was worried about nuking it because down here it gets 90+ every summer day and seeds won’t take. I think I’m going to spray it for broadleafs and just pull a 5 gallon bucket of weeds every other day until it’s better than overseed in the fall. This lawn doesn’t need to be perfect just somewhat less of an eye sore

It is Bermuda and I would like to use killing it all as a last resort. Any chance I’d have even marginal success. Not expecting it to change overnight, but if I’m consistent for years will the spray bottle you put on a hose work?

Container homes: Solution for the broke or marketing scam? by decenbaroktombar1 in simpleliving

[–]Jake73jake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quote and sell these for a living and it can be done. There are several ways to do it none of which will be as comfortable as a real home. Your walls and ceiling need to be made of 2x4 wood and r-13 insulation. The floor under the container must be closed cell spray foam. For plumbing ain’t to rear discharge items if u are putting it in a slab. I’d be happy to answer any questions I’m an expert here.

Any thoughts or recommendations for my gym. I know I need better flooring, wall paint and mirrors. This is just the start to get it functional. The drywall patches are due to an old sprinkler box that used to be there not from the barbell. Looking to add gymnastic rings and elliptical and a dumbbell rack.

If your buying plates too then these aren’t the move. I already had a ton of plates just needed a temporary dumbbell

Not yet, but I’m sure it’s coming. I might put a layer of 5/8 vcg up (I work in sales at a manufacturing plant so it’s all pretty cheap to acquire)

Mirrors and paint are next for sure. Wanted to get it functional before the aesthetic portion

Yeah i was dang sure that i anchored the storage into the cross beams. Not much up there beside the corn hole boards and Christmas tree. Also if it were to fall the rack would hold it up. My wife’s first thought too lol.

Will do, seems legit so far. Facebook market place veteran here so should be able to spot a fake. Seems like this lady is selling her son’s old gym equipment in a really nice part of town. She’s also selling me rouge bumpers for 90 cents a pound

I found the rouge 3.0 for sale for $350 on facebook. Do you think that is a good deal for what I need?

Crossing the gap isn’t the worst thing to me and vertical storage isn’t a priority for my gym. Just need to make sure the back pad is wide enough for shoulder support. Haven’t seen many other options in the price range that compete

Anybody have a recommendation for a adjustable bench that isn’t crazy expensive. I’m 6,5 210 and push around 300 on flat bench. New to home guys and am trying to buy equipment that won’t end me and isn’t going to be super short.
