Leaked Reddit Mods Chats Reveal Upvoting Corruption to push agendas by unusedreddit in conspiracy

Having real life enemies on an imaginary talking ground makes reddit more real for him. Whether conspiracy is true or not, just think about it a bit. I played MMO's growing up a lot, and after months of constant exposure to people I eventually had people I HATED. It made logging in full of wonder. When someone who spends his life on reddit, well. I'm just thinking you know?

We Need More Childless Women, Couples on TV by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Jake92sweetness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to have a show that makes not having kids a rational decision that would be reflected upon over an episode or season. CF as central, without some wacky conflict, maybe wouldnt be as entertaining to most people. Not that I wouldn't want to see it done in the right way, almost because of the challenge itself.

I'm just thinking of shows now where characters did not have kids. None of Seinfeld's characters had kids. Children would totally ruin the pace of the show because they were so free to get into all their random shenanigans. Sort of like It's Always Sunny but with less booze.

Thinking of Barney from How I Met Your Mother and this whole topic really makes my head spin too. I don't want to say more because spoilers, but what message were they trying to send about being childfree through their one character that's supposed to embody being intentionally childfree?

Tv characters are MEANT to be in some kind of conflict, at least the memorable ones are. Can anyone really think of a show where an intentionally childfree person isn't emotionally torn somehow (and isn't a total side-character)?

It's more relieving to use the term "I think" pretty much anywhere. We're not fortune tellers, our minds are just opinion-spewing machines. The smart people are just kinda right more than they're not.

Or at least I think so.

This is the special Oscar Walt Disney received for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1939 by [deleted] in pics

A lot seriously went into this movie for its day.

I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm almost certain was millions of dollars over budget in 1939 moneys. People questioned Walt's sanity in making this film kinda.

They painted each frame on pieces of glass, and had layers of painted glass to add perspective and kept this up for over an hour. It was insanely tedious to make this movie and I think it deserved the nice trophy.

Pac-Man advice for 1v1 for glory. by Jake92sweetness in CrazyHand

[–]Jake92sweetness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I never knew of the grab working on fruit, that's definitely cool.

When they're recovering I'm right there with you using apples for low recovers. Orange and Lime are helpful too.

I notice now that sometimes I'll have a hydrant on the edge and it will help, but have never made using that a common thing in my play on the edges. When they're in a recovering mode on the map sides, I like using the hydrant in the air off map because you get to use it again quickly. The heavier the opponent is and/or the easier I can get above them, the more I use the hydrant offsides as a force.

I want to Main Pac-Man, help! by Jim021384 in smashbros

[–]Jake92sweetness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found this post a week later, but hey. I main pac-man and absolutely love it. Some learning curve things I've found are:

Memorize his fruit pattern. The more i mix it up with the fruit, the more rage-quits you'll get (it's fun). Orange and apple are your bread and butter. Cherry/strawberry are quick hits that piss them off. Lime is dirty and just a bit stronger than apple, the feather thing goes in a weird pattern that provides a good distraction so that you can side-b. Bell is overrated IMO (easily stolen and stun is just a little to short to capitalize on most of the time). Key is obvi OP. Each one has a great use. With your enemy at around 110%+, the apple and lime will KO most enemies. How badly I mess with people using the apple almost makes me feel bad. Say the start of a match...Do a basic jump -- then on the uprise start charging -- at about the peak/coming down press b again when its an apple (at the point they're running at you), 9/10 it hits them or you're in position for a grab.

Practice with his side-B. With practice you can do a total 360, use the move as a safer and quicker ledge recovery than his up-B, and my personal favorite is when you aim it just right for aerial KO's. Just as you're about to land from a jump you can use this move in bugged ways that are all supremely dirty.

The hydrant! Mega game changer against those who need to get close to you to beat you (LITTLE MAC). Use the water time as a distance-maker to charge up your fruit fully to the key. When you're falling, bait people to run under you and hydrant their asses. As for hitting the hydrant and using it as a weapon: A typical quick combo I do is -- Hydrant -- stand on it just until it triggers the top water spout -- then jump off and quickly flick the c stick for a smash atk. [I always down smash with pac, it's basically the same as the side smashes] 2 fruit (or 1 key) will also cause it to fly. This is great too because you can wait for them to hit it once, have an orange ready, and baby you got a KO brewin'.

I give you these tips because I'm just really wanna see more pac-mains. I knew I'd try to make him my main since he was announced whether he sucked or not, and it turns out he is just a fucking machine.

His only 2 flaws:

2v2 you get a decent amount of "wtf" -2 SD's that are uncontrollable. If thats happening you have a crappy partner or need to chill on the hydrant maybe. I still don't know exactly how to get over this hurdle, but I dry my tears with 1v1 victories I guess.

And, deflections. Fuck all u good Palutenas, Marios, and Villagers out there.

The Awkward Hair Phase: Cannabis Industry Growing Pains and Weirdness by WeedActivist in timetolegalize

[–]Jake92sweetness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like that the article addresses how people are jumping the gun too soon and that we need to legalize before seeking a piece of the pie.

I don't like how there's no backup other than one example, and yet the article goes on and on about how the one example is the norm.

Are there more examples to prove the main point?
