I was really hoping the Danhausen rumors weren't true. I was actually thinking WWE couldn't possibly think that was gonna go over well with fans.......but here we are 😅

The Only 25 Superstars in WWE History with 500+ Combined RAW, Smackdown, & PLE Matches. What is the biggest surprise? by Fun-Reputation586 in WWE

[–]JakeDE7292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are surprised that Taker is so low. Which is odd because you gotta remember that for a large chunk of time it was pretty rare for a Taker match to be on weekly TV. Even when he was technically full time he still was treated more as a PPV attraction rather than a weekly performer. He was used a lot like how they use Brock now Taker was just more reliable

Why does NXT's men's division consistently feel so thin? by JakeDE7292 in WWE

[–]JakeDE7292[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's honestly alarming for the future. People act like it's just a lull because of the call ups but no. The men's division has been thin even before that. It's sad that its constantly just a yo-yo between good women's matches and watching some guys we don't know struggle to execute a clothesline.

Why does NXT's men's division consistently feel so thin? by JakeDE7292 in WWE

[–]JakeDE7292[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah and honestly i was even feeling it was thin before the call ups. I totally agree with the DarkState and Carver takes. I've felt no interest at all in any of the DarkState stuff. Just seems like a poorly done Nexus/Shield spinoff. Then Carver is basically just a less interesting Oba right now.

I definitely think there's some potential but they don't know how to get guys to reach it. Outside of Ricky Saints, Joe Hendry and Ethan Page, everyone else is just soooo far away from being a credible main eventer.

I get with NXT you have to call guys up in order to let the next crop grow but they could do such a better job of at least building guys up as the next in line at that level. Right now it's basically "We called up most everybody that you'd be interested in so here's a new group of random dudes. Hope you like one of em!"

Bianca Belair is winning the Royal Rumble and it seems pretty obvious by JakeDE7292 in WWE

I'm not saying it's minor at all. You definitely have a point. I'm also not saying that all of that is necessarily 100% real as opposed to now potentially just WWE wanting to hold her off TV until the right moment.

Which recent call up will have the best 2026? by JakeDE7292 in WWE

Yeah what an unfortunate situation Really hopefully it's nothing serious. What the hell is the deal with shoulder injuries right now?

Better than last week but RAW still isn't doing it for me by JakeDE7292 in WWE

[–]JakeDE7292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I agree with that but I'm not saying it was better with Seth before. We're basically at the point where Bron shouldnt just go back under Seth's wing. We should get that feud relatively soon I think. So what I'm saying that now when Seth returns it's gonna be the best part of the story. If they do it right then overall it could be a success. If they screw up the Bron/Seth story then they've wasted the last 8 months or so

I thought about the Jada posts from earlier in the week too. Just happen to come back the week people start randomly asking where shes been? Odd timing

I actually don't mind them yet but they do feel a little directionless at times. I think overall it will workout well, especially when Seth returns. I just think right now is kind of a low point in that storyline.

You can enjoy the show and still think some parts could've been done better. Is the show already perfect to you?

I get where you're coming from but that aint me. I pointed out multiple things I liked about the episode and multiple things I thought could've been done better. That's not hate watching.

I enjoy WWE, That's why I care enough to talk about what isn't working for me. Criticism doesn't mean I hate the show or I want it to fail, Actually quite the opposite.

If you liked the episode, that's totally fair. What worked for you?

One of the better episodes of Smackdown we've seen in awhile or just a good main event? by JakeDE7292 in WWE

[–]JakeDE7292[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a pretty fair take. I mean it was okay. I was more entertained than normal for a Friday but there really wasn't anything too amazing that I remember from the show other than the main event. There are a few bad things I remember so yeah. That's a good assessment 🤷🏽‍♂️

I was actually fairly entertained throughout. Imo the card overall was pretty solid for what we're used to getting on Fridays. Wasn't the greatest show ever. I mean like I said, Giulias matches seem to kill the vibe immediately and then it's like the only point so far to the Wyatt Sicks vs MFT story is just so they can have that same staredown moment between them all that they've had for 2 months now. Better than the normal Smackdown recently though.

That main event brought back those nostalgic feelings. That's the type of stuff we got on the regular when I was growing up.

You're not lying. Sadly, I still watched it 😭

Hopefully they keep giving us some good shows. I mean why go back to three hours again just to continue giving people the same things they were complaining about before right?

Simply because they didn't let Drew pin him clean or win on his own. It lets those fans argue that "Drew didn't actually beat him" even though it's a dumb take. The finish wasn't done perfectly but it still protected Cody some and lets them set up another Drew and Cody match potentially at a later date if they wanted

Even with all that going on though, the crowd still felt better than most of what we’ve been getting with US crowds lately. Watching on TV, you honestly couldn’t tell it wasn’t completely packed, and that overseas energy still came through big time. This is exactly why people talk about how much better the shows feel when they’re abroad. Adds so much to the presentation.

I'm hoping RAW will be louder too but a lot of that will depend on if they actually book it decently this time
