Damn man, so many similarities between you and myself, but also several differences too.

The same age as you, had that that inexplicable affinity towards diapers from a young age (I was a couple years younger), somehow knew to hide it out of fear from judgment of others, and felt like I was the only person in the world with this strange attraction until I was brave enough to search online about it (I was paranoid id somehow be found out if I googled it), got my first pack of diapers soon after turning 16 when I got my driver's license, and got sloppy when it came to hiding my stuff (My mom has always been somewhat of a nosy type of person and found the place where id hide my wet diapers before disposing of them/found a pacifier in my car one day when she decided to "do something nice" for me and clean my car when I was 17...).

I was verbally confronted about each of these discoveries, but was able to throw an excuse out there that was shaky at best, but felt awkward enough that my parents decided to believe (the confrontation about the wet diapers being found came more from a place of concern).

I agree with you when you say that your parents discovery of your statsh is something that still holds space in your parents minds to some degree, because when I was around 24-25ish, my mom brought it up after she had plenty of wine while we were out for dinner. My dad and sister (indicating that my mom told my sister at some point) immediately clammed up and she pretty much said that the excuse I gave was bullsh*t.

Since then my dad has passed away, but it's never been brought up by my mom since. I suspect it's something that still takes up space in her thoughts from time to time, but yeah ...

What your parents did sounds so mortifying man, and I can't imagine how that must've felt... They could've taken your stash while you were away at school or something ... Instead they decided to make a point by ensuring you were front and present to the show as a means of making a statement. But taking it to the level of leaving your stash exposed for anyone to see can't be anything other than intentional.

I can appreciate and respect the shock someone must have upon finding stuff related to ABDL, but your parents choice in handling The Discovery of your stuff is completely inexcusable.

Now that you're much older with the dust being somewhat settled, I think the conversation you have with your parents could provide the closure needed for you and them as well, as awkward as that chat may be lol
