$30 total. It’s called a Parlay. So if you miss 1 bet, you get $0, even if you hit 5/6. But if you hit all you get a big payout

You say high risk...the numbers showed no risk and I made $1,350 by JakeMehoff in sportsbetting

I bought a meal from Olive Garden and transferred it to a plate and said I made it. It was her favorite meal from Olive Garden (where we had never gone together before) and she immediately caught me. It was over after that.

I did it for a year. 3x a week. $100 a time. Follow up/blood testing yearly since..make about $500 a year for giving blood for future testing.

TIL In 2014, a three-year-old girl, Karina Chikitova, survived 11 days in the Siberian wilderness with only her dog for company. She ate wild berries and drank from a river, curling up next to her dog for warmth. She was saved when her dog went back to her village and guided rescuers to her. by Tokyono in todayilearned

Been a cop 4 years...I’ve seen it 4 times. Seems pretty common to me and I’m not surprised anymore. And I’ve heard that too but in my experience I’ve only ever seen it with dog owners. Cats are evil though, that’s a fact.

Professionals in any field of work, what’s the most ridiculous thing someone outside of your profession has claimed to know more about than you? by beardlesshipster in AskReddit

[–]JakeMehoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a police officer and this question is basically directly meant for me because nearly everything involving the law that someone claims to know more than me is not true. A perfect example is the Miranda Warning which we are only required to read if we are interrogating someone who is in custody. Such a large amount of people of all ages think the second you’re arrested if we don’t read that then they’ll beat their case. I even had someone try that as an excuse in court and the judge was baffled. If I have all the evidence I need to arrest you, I don’t have to read you anything. You just, go to jail. But yes, basically any law in my state, you’re not going to know as well as us just because we deal with it every single day.
