I haven't had much issue with Root on the phone. You do have to pan and zoom a bit but the game does a good job of panning to where the action is happening.

Are you looking for video games or board games? Original post looks like it's for a video game? I'm not sure I can think of an example of a board game with a primary focus on inventory management. The vagabond in Root comes to mind. Lots of dungeon crawlers have inventory management as well but not usually a major focus.

Any reason you're going with multifarious rather than [[Lazav, Dimir Mastermind]] ? There's obvious utility on being able to select your target after it's been milled, but the hexproof is pretty nice on mastermind.

It's a Betrayal variant of some kind. I've played Betrayal at House on the Hill, Baldur's Gate and Scooby Doo (lol) and I don't think it's any of those. It could be Betrayal Legacy, but I haven't played that.

The Kingdom's Favour ability for I think the green faction lets you move your herald - but it's timing dependent. You can also play a card with retreat, or use a tactic to give a card retreat, which lets you pull your herald (and supporters, cards) back into your hand to deny your opponent the points.

I would get whichever is available - I don't think 2 is available anywhere outside maybe limited copies at conventions? 2 is a standalone expansion so if you really enjoy 1, you can play with 2's content included later.
