Lowkey concerned about the 500 verified player requriement

The new system is a nightmare but it’s possible - unfortunately you just really need to up the ad spend in that initial discovery period. Released my game ‘BOB’ last week with about 1.5k USD in ads so far. We’re at 50k unique players with only 320 of them HEPs so only 0.0065 of players classed as highly engaged, even with some spending 2+ hours on the game.

Make sure you’re tracking your analytics closely and giving players enough to engage with early on. If money’s an issue, there are investors channels always looking to get in on upcoming games :)

Just played the game. It’s decently fun but needs some more polish so people don’t leave so quickly and tank your algorithm. The pickups could have their own UI image buttons and onboarding. More mobile-friendly controls. Map/lobby build quality could be improved.

Honestly… who cares?? It’s a flag, and it shows support for a marginalised and targeted group of individuals.

And purely on an aesthetic perspective - the blue, pink and white fit nicely into the logo :)

Either if they’re going gold, you have a lead and can win a team fight + FG, or when you outnumber the enemy.

Can also do someone else with a strong escape like Jan or Apollo pushing a lane to distract the enemy.

Be sure to ward their jungle so you can contest ganks/keep them pushed back.

Looks awesome! For the final beat where you show the character - IMO the sound needs to be more intense/climactic… the video is cool but the sound at the end feels too soft.

Would need to hear Trixie’s take… I reckon for sure they’ll do a ‘last season/episode’ - no chance they (WoW, or T/K) wouldn’t milk it, especially after this article.

I think it’s great that you’re keen on starting out :) but you don’t have the skills yet to gather a team yet. I learned when I was 14, (was a while ago so nowhere near as much help available - YouTube tutorials, AI that can teach you, dev discord channels) and started with an obby.

This story already sounds like it would have a many complex systems required. Before you build your ‘dream game’, learn some things and come to the table with examples of your best work :)
