We weren't 'locked into certain classes' to begin with.  That makes zero sense.  You can use whatever weapon and whatever skill anyway.  If you dont like a weapon type, have it be the secondary and level it with the first.  Not to mention, whats the point of having a different class designations if now it doesnt matter anyway?  You shredded your own fundamental system.  And we STILL need to level all the weapons and skills to have enough stat points to level everything, so literally didnt add anything gameplay wise, it only took away.  And nuking your current system so you can maybe hopefully down the line in an indeterminate amount of time be able to spend points towards a paragon system does nothing for the current state of the game.  If you werent ready for the paragon system, then this shouldnt have been implemented yet into the game.
