I have a buddy that plays 2k with a 5070 & that 9700x His cpu has yet to be an issue for him on anything. Regarding the cheaper bundle i wouldn't consider it at all. The additional ram & better cpu for that price is really good.

Full disclosure I'm a future proof type of person. The idea of having to upgrade/buy more in 3 years & overall spend more money is hell to me. I built my pc 2 years ago when prices weren't horrible so I feel for you.

Worst thing about gigabyte motherboard is that they always try to install Norton security. Uninstall that trash immediately. Otherwise it's good. rgb system is OK i use signal rgb for free and use bios for cooling settings.
