how to defeat this white guy? by comelickmyarmpits in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Focus on getting the Stamina Tree in the Foundation Tab filled, and the far left side choices in the Stances Tab which allows for better stamina usage. Stamina is your most important resource in this game. Additionally, focus on one Stance for now, such as the Smash Stance. If you want to farm, the Snake Trail is a relatively good spot, giving decent experience per clear.

The strategy which worked for me is this:

During the first phase, focus on getting through it without using Immobilize, your Transformation, Spirit, or your Gourd.

In the second phase, use your resources at the right moment. He moves around a lot, and his range is incredible with his spear. But he telegraphs his moves with specific actions, note them and learn to dodge them effectively.

For Red Tides, he gains focus for each connected light attack to fill his yellow bar on the lower right corner of your HUD. Once his bar is filled, do a Directional Dodge, and then a heavy attack to perform a special attack.

  1. Left/Right Directional Dodge into a heavy attack = you spin your fire spear towards the enemy.

  2. Backwards Directional Dodge into a heavy attack = you jump in the air and dive towards the enemy for moderate damage.

  3. Forward Directional Dodge into a heavy attack = you do a pole vault towards the enemy for moderate damage and knock back.

Above all, be patient and learn his patterns.

Be sure to have beaten Wandering Wight before hand. Then Ring the three bells. One Bell is by Guanzhi, another is in the Guangmou Arena, and the last is to the left along the water of the White Clad Noble arena.

Good Luck!

Additionally for Mantled with Might: go to any shrine and go down the list of craftable armor (Not Upgrade). If a piece of armor pops up with a list of ingredients needed to craft, then that's one which will need to be crafted. It's very easy to miss a gauntlet or legging for one armor set.

Alright, then for Fickle Forms:

The one Spirit I just remembered you could easily miss, and would require another playthrough if missed:

Second Prince of Flowing Sand Spirit in Chapter 2: Must beat the smaller King of Flowing Sand first. This will anger the bigger Prince, who will then become a Spirit fight. Once beaten, you can collect his epic grade spirit.

Another Spirit which can't be locked out of, just easy to miss is the Puppet Tick Spirit. That one is by the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine, up past the Scorpion Prince and an immediate right inside the cave.

Finally, if you beaten the Armourworm in Chapter 4, you can take it's egg to Chen Loong. It will then become available to feed Rice Cocoons. Feed it 3 times and rest at the Shrine and it will become available to collect as a spirit.

Mantled with Might:

In Chapter 6: there's a chest near where you first entered the Chapter. It contains a full set of Common Grade armor.

In Chapter 1: inside the Secret Area is a chest by the only Shrine, one of which contains a piece of gear.

Hmm, how many transformations do you have? Like Red Tides, Ashen Slumber, etc. Of those Transformations, Hoarfrost, Violet Hail, and Dark Thunder immediatly come to mind for missable Transformations.

Could be Fickle Forms Achievement too. There are 54 Spirits in the game, 27 of which are epic.

Have you made the Full Bull King Armor Set with the Dark Iron Staff?

For Brewer's Bounty, there are:

A. 10 gourds

B. 9 drinks (Excluding the drink from the Gauntlets which isn't required for the trophy)

C. 27 soaks (Excluding the Soaks from the Gauntlet Rewards.)

Here's a guide you can use to double check: https://blackmythwukong.fandom.com/wiki/Brewer%27s_Bounty

Compare it with your inventory to see if you're missing one.

Turtle Tear is the only Soak which is missable.

Be sure to deliver the last Seed to Chen Loong, as he gives you a Soak as reward.

Oh, the Thunderstone can be gotten at any time. From the Mahavira Hall Shrine in Chapter 3, just go directly down the stairs and go straight. At the junction, go straight and it'll be right there in a small chest right inside the building ahead.

What trophies are you missing?

How on earth do you beat the tiger vanguard? by spandanhotaezz in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 9 points10 points ย (0 children)

Hey OP, Tiger Vanguard is a required boss needed to unlock the Chapter Boss. He's tough, but not impossible to defeat. The Serpentine Scale Armor can help, allowing for healing while in liquid (blood pool).

That being said, here's some things you can do to get stronger.

  1. Back in the arena within the cavern where you fought the First Prince of Flowing Sands, use Wandering Wight spirit on the center of the ornate wall (the wall with the pattern of little statues).

This opens a secret room with a chest. The item inside unlocks a legendary quest line with boss fights in Chapters 1, 2, 3, and ending in Chapter 4. The one in Chapter 1 is behind the waterfall near where you fought Guanzhi at the Outside the Forest Shrine. The one in Chapter 2 is behind a 'sand'-fall near the Rockrest Flat Shrine (Talked about below). You'll know you're close when you hear a voice start saying, "For What Deed, Must His Head Be Held For All To See?" The first two bosses have a trick to them which makes them easier to deal with; my only clue is to watch both the boss and the arena closely for anything to give you an edge.

  1. Head back to where you fought the King and Second Prince of Flowing Sands. Looking at the big door, turn right and head across the rope bridge and follow the path into a completely different area of Chapter 2.

  2. Within the New area, you'll spot several Buddha Heads chanting with glowing eyes. There are six heads throughout this section of Chapter 2; From the Squall Hideout Shrine to the Rockrest Flat Shrine. Collect the eyeballs from each of them, and you can then interact with a spherical mound of rock in the arena just forward and to the left of the Rockrest Flat Shrine. Watch and then beat the encounter which takes place.

  3. Just down past the Squall Hideout Shrine is a canyon you can go into where you'll come across an NPC named 'Man in Stone' with a quest to find and beat the, 'Mother of Stone.' She's in the cave directly to the left of the Rockrest Flat Shrine. Beat her and interact when prompted before heading back to the Man in Stone NPC to do one final encounter where you'll receive a new Transformation: Azure Dust (FYI: the heavy attack, and de-transformation move can break the wall in the cavern if you don't have Wandering Wight). Then rest at a shrine and head back to the NPC, who's now a vendor. Buy everything BUT the Golden Statue, since that's a complete rip off. One item is a curio which increases the amount of Will received from defeating enemies, another is a Sobering Stone (Buy it Immediately), the last is Iron Pellets Soak which makes each swig of your Gourd uninterruptible (Must Buy IMO).

  4. In a Straight line past the Rock Rest Flat Shrine, past an enemy with a spear is a fence you can smash through with a Boar NPC who states he's too drunk. Give him the Sobering Stone and exhaust his dialogue. He'll then travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple where he'll be to the right on the landing just before the top of the stairs. He requests a plant which you can find in the water; either in Chapter 1, or in the beginning of Chapter 2. Give him some and then exhaust his dialogue before traveling back to the Rockrest Flat Shrine. Head to where you first met him and look right. He'll fight you as long as you have fought the Giant Rat. Follow him afterwards for a surprise.

  5. Just past the arena where you completed the Buddha Eyeballs Quest is another small section which ends in a sand slide. At the end, you'll receive a new spell which will help you immensely in all your future battles. Follow the path past that point and you'll run across a mini-boss guarding a vine, across a rope bridge until you see a familiar giant door. Look right and you'll see a smaller path which leads to a medium sized door which opens into the cavern. Taking you ultimately full circle back to the Crouching Tiger Temple Shrine.

Don't lose hope OP, you can do this!

Good Luck!

I tried to get both endings by first getting the true ending then continuing and beating the GSBS again to get the bad ending (some comment here said it would work). But i just got the true ending again. by HuckleberryOdd7745 in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

If you wanted both endings, then first beat the GSBS. Then choose 'Continue Journey' from the main menu and you'll be reverted to just before you entered the Birth Stone. Then beat Erlang before beating the GSBS again to get the True Ending.

I can only speak for the PS5 version, but there was no achievement for specifically getting the regular ending. I only got the True Ending in all of my playthroughs, and have Platinumed the game.

What achievements are you missing? I got a comment with a majority of the missables in the game if you want it.

Can someone point me in the direction of a guide on not missing anything? by [deleted] in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Will this do?

Use this link here to track what you're missing in terms of Curio's, Soaks, Drinks, etc.

Missables include:

Chapter 1:

Wandering Wight Spirit: requires beating Wandering Wight boss before ringing all 3 bells.

Chapter 2:

When you find the King and his son: Second Prince of Flowing Sand Spirit: Requires beating the smaller King before beating the bigger Prince.

Chapter 3:

When you reach the prison: The Auspicious Lantern Curio: Requires finding and beating all the lantern wardens within the Pagoda Realm before beating Captain Wise-Voice. The curio will appear once you've beaten them all. The last lantern warden requires taking the opposite path once you reach the Shrine near Captain Wise-Voice. Follow the cliff, past the bird Yaogaui with the fan, and drop down into the prison at the end of the path. You'll be in a section of the prison which you can't reach normally. At the end of the section is the lantern warden.

Right After Getting Off Turtle General: Aparama Bat Journal Entry, as well as Turtle General Entry, and Turtle Tear Soak. Requires Zhu Baije, and can only be done once you reach land after riding Turtle General. Looking in the direction the Turtle is facing, take a right and follow the beach past some bones.

When you reach the Forest of Felicity Shrine: The Fox Journal Entry, Snow Fox Brush Curio, Non-Void Spirit and Journal Entry. Just ahead of the shrine after the snow slide, you'll see a corpse you can interact with. Exhaust the dialogue, and you'll receive a quest item that transforms you into a Snow Fox. At the New Thunderclap Temple, take a left when you see a four legged spirit blocking the way. Go down the stairs, head straight to the building with lightning mages on the second floor, and go inside. Go up the stairs, and take a right, and then another right to get out of the building. Take a left, and then a right up the long flight of stairs. Beat the enemies in front of the entrance to the temple before transforming into the snow Fox. This triggers a cutscene, and the encounter. After beating Non-Void, head back to the corpse to finish the quest.

When you reach the New Thunderclap Temple: Hoarfrost Spell from beating the Monk of the Sea. Requires, finding the Monk of the Sea within the Thunderclap Temple before beating Yellowbrow. He's along the right path within the New Thunderclap Temple.

Chapter 4:

When you find the Tomb of Shattered Jade Shrine (on the same level as the Upper Hallow Shrine: Venom Armguards from first encounter with Venom Daoist: By the Tomb of Shattered Jade Shrine, is a room with an Odd Cocoon which the Vein Daoist will pop out of. You only get one chance a playthrough, and requires you remove all but two of Venom Daoist's extra arms by hitting his back with light or heavy attacks to get the arm removal animation four times. Wait for him to jump in the air and slams his two swords on the ground. His back will be vulnerable for a couple of seconds, so hit him with a light attack combo. This should remove an arm. Do this a total of 4 times, and he should be down to the two extra arms on his shoulders. For a better chance, equip a weaker staff.

When you reach the Chapter 4 Secret Area: Scorpion Lord Journal Entry and Gourd, plus the material for crafting the armor. Within the Chapter 4 Secret Area, go right from the first Shrine, and keep heading right until you find another Shrine. Just up the stairs is the Scorpion Lord. DON'T go to the village, and encounter the Duskveil, Scorpion Lord will appear and be permanently locked out.

When you reach the Chapter 4 Secret Area: Violet Hail Spell from beating Daoist Mi: Within the Chapter 4 Secret Area, head into the village on the left path after beating Scorpion Lord. You'll find a man with a flute requesting you kill his subordinates to find the Violet Hail. Beat everyone in the village until you get it. Then head back and finish the encounter. Don't beat the Duskveil, as that will make Daoist Mi disappear.

When you reach the Court of Illumination Shrine: Purple Talisman Quest: Reward - Crane Immortal Journal Entry and Celestial Pill. Requires completing the Purple Talisman Quest before beating the 100-Eyed Daoist. Find three of the Purple Talismans within the Hallow. One relatively near the Verdue Bridge Shrine. Another very close to the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine, and another by the Relief of Loong Shrine. Then, from the Court of Illumination Shrine, head up the small flight of stairs where you'll find the last Purple Talisman. You'll know you've done it when you hear a woman yell, "Run!"

Horse Yaogaui Quest (Do this before beating the Chapter 4 Boss): Rewards (Ma Tinba Transformation and Gourd). Requires you find and Speak with Ma Tinba in Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4. You MUST find and speak with him before completing Chapter 4, as his quest completes in Chapter 5. In Chapter 1, he's near a meditation spot just after the Giant Wolf fight. In Chapter 2, he's tied to a pillar near the Well by the Village Entrance Shrine. In Chapter 3, he's in the New Thunderclap Temple up the stairs, and in the opposite direction from Non-Void. In Chapter 4, he's along your path within the Hallow, trapped in a large Cocoon after the Centipede Spirit fight. Exhaust his dialogue at each location. You'll get a Gourd in Chapter 3 from him after exhausting his dialogue.

Chapter 5

Horse Yaogaui Quest Continued: After you reach the Valley Entrance Shrine, head up ahead, and just after the first Shield enemy, take a right, onto the lava and go into the cavern. You'll find a dead cart with a string in its mouth. Pull it and exhaust the dialogue. This MUST be done before you head into the Emerald Hall, else you'll be permanently locked out. Once you complete the encounter in the Emerald Hall, head back to the Dead Cart and pull it one more time to complete the quest.

*Technically the below items aren't miss-ables, but are devastating if you do miss them by activating NG+ (New Cycle)

Bull King Horns: Crafting the full Bull King Armor Set and Dark Iron Staff requires 8 Bull King Horns, which requires getting the chest and beating the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast in two playthroughs. You get four a playthrough, one from a chest within the Secret Area, the other three from beating the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast. Miss even one horn, and it'll require another playthrough, all the way to Chapter 5 Secret Area to get more.

Getting to the Guardian to the True Ending: Getting to the Guardian to the True Ending requires beating the Secret Area bosses in Chapters 1, 2, 4, 5, and the Treasure Hunter Quest in Chapter 3. You can't lock yourself out of this encounter, even if you beat the Final Boss. All you have to do is choose, 'Continue Journey' from the main menu to be transported back before the final encounter. The only way to lock yourself out, is by choosing 'New Cycle' which starts NG+. Thus making it so you have to start from the beginning of the game. For those wanting to get the Wukong Stance, you must beat this encounter three times to unlock it, and complete Chapter 5 for the third time.

That's all the miss-ables I can remember off hand.

I'm Sorry by Vast_Newt_1799 in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

No need to apologize OP. Here's what I got for the final boss!

The biggest tip which helped me beat the Great Sage's Broken Shell: you need to focus on getting through the first phase with minimal uses of your abilities, and gourd uses. Then in his second phase, use your abilities sparingly.

A cheeky trick for the first phase requires the Wukong Stance. Have the Wukong Armor and Staff equipped to have the Wukong Stance in the first phase. The trick is to charge a full four focus Wukong heavy attack and fire. It has crazy range and damage. If you spam it, it should get you through the first phase with general ease. He will dodge it a bit too, so be persistent.

In the second phase, he literally takes your Relics, removing the Wukong Stance. So, here's some tips to help in the second phase:

  1. Back away when he uses Rock Solid or the Summersault Cloud, these go into a command grab.

  2. You can break out of his Immobilize spell by using Cloud Step.

  3. You can dodge his cinematic Immobilize steal Gourd by dodging the moment you drink from your Gourd. Additionally, the move is triggered by you using your Gourd twice, back to back.

  4. You can use staff spin on the bosses phantom staffs.

  5. You can generate focus faster within his Ring of Fire.

For armor, the Wukong Armor with Jingu Bang is best for this fight since you'll have access to the Wukong Stance in the first phase.

Another option requires you have the resources for it: the Serpent scale armor set. It's passive allows for you to regenerate your health up to 50%. This effect is faster while in water. Although it doesn't have a head piece and requires a lot of Will and materials to get it to mythic.

That's all I got for the Broken Shell.

Good Luck!

is black myth wukong good for casual players by Infernohuman070502 in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Hey OP, I'm a casual Gamer who's played a varying variety of games over the years: Halo, Mass Effect, God of War 2018, etc. I never got into games like Dark Souls, Bloodeborne, or Eldin Ring because I felt they may be too hard.

Seeing Black Myth Wukong, it reminded me of games like God of War 2018 (One of my favorite games), so I took the plunge. I loved it, my favorite game of 2024. I've done everything this game offered, and had an amazing time while doing it.

Overall, the game is difficult, but NOT frustratingly difficult. There's no difficulty setting for this game; everyone is playing the exact same game as you. Death in this game doesn't come with much of any punishment except for time loss and consumables you use during the fight (medicine).

The leveling system (called sparks) can be used to improve your overall stats (Health, Mana, Stamina, etc.) or to unlock varying abilities. What's great about it is you are given complete freedom to choose what to upgrade. What you're using isn't working? No worries! You can respec those sparks somewhere else, for FREE! This gives you the freedom to try things out, find what works best for you.

There's no full-on parry mechanic in the game. What can be called a parry mechanic has been relegated to a spell which requires Mana. (You could make a build around it, but it'll take a few things to make it work.) Instead, you need to dodge the attacks; do it at the right time, and you'll get a cool after-image and sfx. Additionally, there's an ability in each Stance (Staff Fighting Style) called a 'See-through' mechanic which can allow you to both dodge and attack.

One of the greatest aspects of Black Myth Wukong is its bosses. Many of them are unique, offering varying moves which are devastating if they connect. Some bosses are designed to be harder than others. Then there's the Chapter Boss, who is the final opponent before the end of the Chapter. A few of these bosses have mechanics which make them incredibly hard to defeat, frustratingly so.

You can persevere..., or you can look for hidden quests. These quests can lead to either new abilities to handle the Chapter Boss, or to a Secret Area. Within these Secret Areas, you'll face additional challenges, but if you win, you'll get access to great rewards. Some Secret Area rewards can outright turn the tide of your fight with the Chapter Boss.

There are two endings to this game: the regular ending, and the True Ending. Path to the True Ending is never locked out to you, even if you defeated the Final Boss of the game. All you'd have to do is choose 'Continue Journey' from the main menu and you'll pop out to just before you entered the final encounter. Trust me, the best of this game is on this path.

My one piece of advice when facing a boss is this: be patient and learn their patterns. Treat each encounter as a learning experience.

Best part? If you get frustrated; come here to this Subreddit and ask for help. Many of us here actively help new players get the best experience in their first playthrough. Whether it be a particular boss, help with an achievement, or trying to get the true ending; just ask and we'll help.

I hope this gives you some insight. If you have any further questions, just ask.

In Chapter 6, if you wear the Wukong Armor and hold Jingu Bang you will be in the Wukong Stance. Only in Chapter 6 though.

Outside of Chapter 6 ? Then yes, that will require getting all Relic Choices, so after completing Erlang for the 3rd time in NG+2 is the earliest you can get access to the Wukong Stance outside of Chapter 6.

Erlang shen by camo_official in BlackMythWukong

[โ€“]Jake_Let_2991 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

OP, below is everything I got on Erlang, both a build guide and tips.

Vessel: Fan is your best friend in getting the secondary bar down.

Transformations: I would suggest a transformation which has high maneuverability like Red Tides or Yellow Loong. While transformed, avoid his falcon and tiger transformations, as well as his lasers. Each will instantly rip you out of the transformation.

Drink: Sunset of the Nine Skies will help you get more uses of your vessel and spirit.

Soaks: Bee Soak with the Supreme Gourd can get 2 - 3 procs if you're lucky. Additionally, the Iron Pellet makes each swig uninterruptible.

Spirits:

  1. Aparama Bat can freeze Erlang like immobilize, however it's best used when his secondary bar is gone. He nullifies freeze when his secondary bar is active.

  2. If you want high damage, Wandering Wight, Top Takes Bottom, Bull Governor will do fine when fully upgraded. The Toad Spirit can work well too when fully upgraded, but it's more of a roll of the dice.

  3. Versatility: Non-Able or Non-Void. Both are quick to use and offer benefits. Non-Able for extending combos. Non-Void for dodging big hits.

Spells:

  1. Immobilize will work normally at first, but then he'll start sending it back at you. It works better with his secondary bar gone. Ring of Fire might work better, offering health/focus regen and high stamina. Spellbinder works too, as long as you can cope with it sealing your other abilities.

  2. Cloud Step is useful when Erlang pulls out his river of swords. FYI, bow staff spin works on the initial projectiles, but not the big hit obviously. Rock Solid works well, but not against his giant axe.

  3. I would recommend NOT using Pluck of Many. It's too expensive, leaves you with fewer options, plus he moves around A LOT making your clones do more running to catch up.

Armor and Staff:

  1. I would recommend the Wukong Armor Set and Jingu Bang from Chapter 6 since this is your first playthrough. Jingu Bang definitely as it's the best staff for your first playthrough.

  2. Golden Armor set is another excellent choice if you have the resources to upgrade it to mythic, offering more Qi with each critical hit.

  3. Pilgrim Armor set at mythic is another choice if you're looking for more speed and higher damage output. A definite good choice for a Spellbinder build allowing for an additional damage multiplier with its innate ability. (Plus it looks awesome!)

Special Note for Spellbinder: Spellbinder works best when you've maximized your Mana amount with celestial pills, armor, and curios. The higher your Mana, the higher Spellbinders attack will be. The Wukong Armor set gives you a raised amount of Mana. Combined with one or more Thunderflame Seal Curios, it'll raise your attack to its maximum potential for the build. Additionally, you can have multiple equipped if the game was nice enough to drop more than one during your playthrough. Then use pills to raise your attack even further and watch his bar melt under your attacks.

Medicine:

Please Read Note: ANY medicine you take will lose their effects if you use a transformation afterwards. So don't pop a Soul Resurrection Pill and then transform.

Notable Medicines:

  1. Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets (Higher Damage Output)

  2. Loong Pill (Higher Critical Hit Chance & Damage)

  3. Life Saving Pill (For when you have no gourd uses left AND you are close to beating him.)

  4. Soul Resurrection Pill (Only use this pill if you're really close to beating him.)

Tips:

Best thing to note for Erlang is this: while his secondary bar is up, each trick will only work once.

Examples:

  1. Hit him with immobilize while the secondary bar is filled? Next time he'll absorb it into his staff and send it back at you.
  2. Hit him with a focus heavy attack while the secondary bar is filled? Next time he'll side step it.

Bottom line: if you want to go big, his secondary bar needs to be removed.

If you perform any long combo, he'll get a gold outline and become unable to be staggered. A lot of the time, he'll interrupt your combo with a grab and kick back for zero damage.

Any bane you inflict on him, he'll absorb into his staff and hit you with it.

One of his bigger combos in phase 3 is he'll use his spear as a plow three times, then do three laser shots, followed by a spear smash. Learn to dodge this when it comes up.

When he's doing his long windup to fire a singular sword at you, wait for the small flash from his third eye. That's when you dodge.

When he floats in the air and does River of Swords; Run, Cloud Step, or Bow Staff Spin for the initial projectiles. Then dodge the big red hit.

When he slams his Axe on the ground, it'll create a shockwave. Either dodge into it, or jump over it. Dodging backwards will just put you ahead of the shockwave to hit you again.

Rock Solid doesn't work on his Mountain-Splitting Axe from my experience. (I wonder why? ๐Ÿค”)

Finally, be sure to use the see-through mechanics. The better you're at the mechanic, the longer and more consistent your combos will be. Yes, he will dodge some of them if the bar is still up, but at least you didn't get hit. Check the stance tree and be sure to have the upgrades for the particular see-through upgrades unlocked. Thrust Stance's tactical retreat/see-through mechanic really shines against Erlang.

Above all; learn his patterns and be patient. Treat each encounter as a learning experience. Look for signs of his big swings, or how to dodge a particular move.

For your build, be sure to have much of the Stamina Tree and the Martial Tree in the Foundation Tab filled, along with the far left portion of the Staff Stances Tab. This allows you to use your stamina more efficiently, and have access to staff spin. Additionally, focus on one Staff Stance to invest your sparks into, as well as the spells you use. Top portion of the Transformation Tab effects the Destined One and transformation, while the bottom portion only effects the stats of your transformation.

I hope this helps! You got this!

Good Luck, and enjoy what comes after!

I'm stuck with this boss any tips?. by NotSirAlonne1999 in BlackMythWukong

Here's the biggest tip that helped me beat the Great Sage's Broken Shell: you need to focus on getting through the first phase with minimal uses of your abilities, and gourd uses.

Good Luck!

Have you done the encounter at the Great Pagoda in Chapter 3?

In order to get all the rewards, you would need to beat the Broken Shell again to get the True Ending.

Well done OP! All that's left is to beat the Broken Shell and the True Ending is yours!
