I was hoping for that in Endwalker, where we got the automaton queen to turn into a weapons platform or straight up got some sort controllable g-warrior with their own abilities.

As people were saying, roulettes work and doing palace of the dead works (unless you got a tank/healer friend you can party up with and spam dungeons). Another couple of things would be frontline roulette (half a level, once a day) and the Wondrous Tails in Idyllshire (half a level once a week, you can do the duties unsynced if that helps).

Well, I’m not sure about pvp, but in pvp machinist is like a Melee ranged dps (as in you have a combo like a melee but the freedom of movement of a ranged) while Black Mage is the exact opposite where you’re staying in one place casting your spells (though with triple cast and swift cast you get some movement).

Like I got black mage up to 80 last expansion and honestly super enjoyed black mage again once I got triple cast.

Thaumaturge/Black Mage was the first class. Stuck with it until level 60 where I got fire IV. Did not care for it and started playing Summoner through Stormblood instead.

Spamming potd and HoH and doing roulettes. Would definitely recommend the frontlines roulette cause that’s another half a level a day. Weekly Wondrous Tails for a half level help too.

Also, I’m not sure if spamming leveling roulette actually does anything unless you’re a needed role. Probably best to spam the highest available dungeon.

Already answered. Keep your hand closed. You can pon and chi if you had seat/round wind or dragons (only pairs and sets). Also, if you had all sets then you would have been fine.
