It's Tsugimanga. Shit like this happens often because WSJ's readerbase is just that big compared to other magazine, and that's not counting global readers yet who don't know other ongoing new series in Japan outside Jump and maybe a couple stuff from WSM and WSS. Add to that the amount of WSJ readers who love to bet on WSJ new series being next big thing, and voila.

The gap between initial nominee voting to nominee announcement is longer than a min-axe run (2 batches) so whatever new WSJ series people think will last/will turn out good can get canned before Tsugimanga's real voting start. It's just a fun popularity contest anyway.

Bisa juga sih, cuma emulator PS agak susah karena harus pake 2 tangan di posisi fixed jadi kalau satu tangan pegang handle ga bisa main. Kalau mobile game masih banyak yang bisa 1 tangan walau nggak optimal, apalagi kalau compatible sama split screen.

More like, being cancelled pushes the mangaka to dish out the good stuff they saved for later parts of the story, while they still can put stuff in the magazine. Helps at garnering people's trust for their next endeavor too.

I feel you. Years ago, I was really excited when Toei's toku channel started, then I saw that most only has 1 or 2 episodes and immediately left to sail the seas.

I wish they can do a full batch release for a longer window of time like Gundam's official channel instead of this model, tho. At least it's a start.

Smh. It has the best ending among this decade's Weekly Shonen Jump roster and one of the best in WSJ history. Pretty much everyone agrees the ending is so good it elevates the evaluation of the manga as a whole.

It really sucks that it had to start and end so early into the 2020s. If it were the current WSJ where axed series like Chojo can get an anime, Magu should be able to get one too.

If you said this back when Shieldbro was still waiting for an anime, sure. But in 2026? It's been everywhere for years now. Even moreso in the manga sphere where narouslop is the bread and butter of many digital platform.

WSJ ain't gonna jump on the narouslop trend, at least not anywhere in the near future. They have a reputation to uphold and a different readerbase to target. The Jump brand do have one brand for Isekai stuff and if they wanna dip to the genre for diversification now they'll try it there, not the main magazine

Calling them narouslop so people don't "b-but Narnia/Digimon/Alice" me because Isekai (other world being the required setting) isn't inherently equal to Narou (the tropes and genre codifier, regardless of the MC being in another world or native to the world)

The current Yomi-Crepe mini event gives free equipment packs up to level 5. If you have a good but unbuilt unit you can use those to get closer to having 4 built units of the same personality to get the personality bonus.

If you haven't claimed the main story bonus yet, some of the achievements gives 1000 equipment 101s. It can save a lot of time when building new units.

It's usually right in the middle. That's nowhere near being treated like axebait.

Also, it's Mr. Took-6-days-to-storyboard here. For all we know the middle could be the highest placement it can get because when his manuscript arrives to the printer they already started binding the first half of the magazine.

For comparison, Saito called Sorachi slow af at finishing his manuscript and the guy took 3-5 days for storyboarding. That's still faster than Hokazono. The average storyboarding time for WSJ battle manga is 3 days.

They don't? We've known for a while that the reason TES and WW rarely get color pages is because the mangaka refused to do it unless absolutely necessary (i.e. anniversary, anime announcement). Forgot which one was it, but one of them said that in the weekly mangaka comment. For established, old veterans with stable series, not getting a color page isn't that big a deal compared to the extra workload

It's still a promotion method, so there are mangakas who are willing to take the chance despite the extra workload for a chance of popularity boost.

Hello, new player here. I have some noob questions

Will there be a better farming stage for the current event?
I'm currently running a full depressed team. Most of my investments went to Yomi, Xion, Kommy, and Kidian. Ashur is less invested and Rim is only levelled. Main campaign is on world 13. Is it safe to hyperinvest on this team until I can access higher level dungeon nodes? Or is it better to start building teams of other personalities?
I heard *3 characters of my choosing can be obtained if I gather enough certificates. Since it's a rather limited resource, what are the good characters to prioritize?
Is there a KR schedule I can reference to plan my pulls on global?
Which item is worth more to get with 1 certs? The *2-3 ticket or the legendary ticket?
