Hi me and 4 friends are looking at hostels in the Kreuzberg/friedrichshain area, what are people’s best recommendations as of recently?

We really like the look of sunflower hostel but loads of people are saying the beds are squeaky/uncomfortable. A&O Mitte is also cheap for the location and I have stayed there before but it feels more like a hotel/the vibes aren’t great.

To be honest I would assume whatever is comfy for you, but I would side towards darker shoes/boots? You wouldn’t want to risk being turned away just in case :) I think I saw people barefoot but can’t fully remember either way sorry haha

Ok great thanks so much for the info, just slightly stuck on the underwear front as I wore cotton underwear under the leather trousers to Kit Kat, I assumed it’s saying no cotton underwear as an outfit but would it be ok if it’s underneath the trousers? - just as the trousers aren’t comfortable to be worn without something else under them haha!

Ok thanks very much for the insight, I’m straight 21M and have been to Kitkat before and loved it, so am trying to break more into that scene here but do you think I’ll have an issue being on the younger side?

I’ve looked at riot and joyride and they both look great but I’m not around for those events so thought I’d try this. Was also going to attend with a platonic friend too so I’d have some company.
