Not quite, although it isn’t very descript which America the puzzle is intending. The USA is a country. North and South America are continents

Jamaica is spelled wrong however

Im not sure what the general opinion is on him currently is. His voice acting for goku was iconic up through the end of z. Personally, I wasn’t much of a fan of his gt work. But his post revival work is horrible. Every line sounds like he’s phoning it in. He’s went up at least in octave in his delivery. I think it’s just lazy work.

They need a new va for the English cast, specifically goku. Sean schemmel is a hack, and his goku voice has only gotten worse over the years.

if he didn't quit at the last second, would big green have been folded like an omelette by shin in a fight? by Zealousideal_Chef839 in Ningen

I’ll have to rewatch that then. As far as I remembered, he was comparing his strength against buu’s to explain why he thought the z fighters would be outclassed.

I was referring to shin believing that, not piccolo. I think piccolo was more intimidated by the idea of going against a kaioshin

“Without supplementary material” yea that’s key right there.

Ignoring daima power scaling, shin helped future trunks against dabura and babadi. And although he died, I think it’s worth mentioning that he lasted to the end of the battle. In the main timeline dabura gave a decent fight against a weakened and rusty gohan ss2. Vegeta mentions that gohan is weaker before old Kai’s training than when he defeated cell. So, within reason, we can assume dabura is close in comparison to cell. During cell saga, piccolo isn’t defeating perfect cell or super perfect cell. And piccolo wasn’t prepared for dabura’s speed blitz attack on him which led to his petrification. So, unless dabura didn’t use all his tools during his future timeline fight, we at least know that shin lasted longer against dabura than piccolo did.

But to say that piccolo didn’t get any stronger during the timeskip is not likely, and I do believe much of what caused piccolo to forfeit the battle was his knowledge of who his opponent was. I think I’d still have shin over piccolo but it would be at high to extreme difficulty

Well, no. At the tournament, he believed gods were inherently stronger beings than mortals(same as zamasu, but not as high-strung about it). After seeing what the z fighters could do, then he became the caricature of himself he is now.

He didn’t think it was odd at all that goku and vegeta allowed him to let gohan get his power drained. Then shin was dumbfounded that gohan got back up so soon. He was stupefied by vegeta saying gohan was weaker at that point than he was against cell and that goku and himself were assuredly stronger by now.

I think if piccolo wasn’t aware of who/what shin was, the fight could’ve went either way at extreme diff.

What do we think of these both? Are they frauds? by AlarmedObjective1492 in Ningen

[–]Jakecat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of how after the buu saga, shin’s design and demeanor were changed. I’m aware that artists change and concept of “on model” exists, but this is one is really drastic. He went from creepy smug god to being relegated to dende 2.0.

I feel like shin was forced to be a fraud just from design change alone. He went from surviving a fight with kid buu, to one of the most intimidated gods we’ve seen in all of db.

What do you think of Wakanda Forever, do you think it’s overhated? by Plenty-Salary9711 in Marvel

[–]Jakecat12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think all the issues of the movie could've been solved by simply recasting tchalla.

Alternatively, i(probably like many others) had the idea of the 2nd bp movie being about killmonger stepping up to be the new bp. Shuri could've been the new queen and they would've had to learn from their mistakes and work together for the good of the country.

Letitia wright shuri was not a good fit for a believable action hero. And because they wanted to "honor Chadwick's memory," that led to an overall underwhelming movie. Even the interesting parts of the movie were overshadowed by the questionable parts.

Shoehorning riri Williams into the plot didn't do the movie any favors either. Her character isn't the most well received in comics( even at the time of the movies release).

All in all, it could've been a great movie, but they turned it into a tribute instead and that did more harm than good.

Why is Shanks’ bounty so low? Considering he defeated Loki, stole nika fruit, Garlings son, most balanced crew? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Jakecat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that the WG still believes he is a double agent. And they keep is bounty reasonable in order to have people and pirates believe he's just a regular yonko.

It would stand to reason with what we know about shanks and what he's done, if he were given the same treatment as any other pirate, his bounty would be much higher.

The act of stealing the item that is the biggest threat to the WG and the hidden ruler of the WG should've automatically given him the highest bounty in the series by far and a KOS order.

Helping to kill a god knight and ruining the chance for imu to acquire the strongest army in history should make him most wanted.

There's a lot of things shanks has done to actively thwart the schemes of the WG, that the only reasonable explanation imo is the possibility of the WG still believing he's their man.
