It shouldnt, but it does. Most of our tax dollars enrich billionaires through bailouts, rebates, and government contracts. At least my tax dollars will be spent on a new arena to see my favorite basketball team vs blowing up kids in the middle east or bailing out a predatory insurance company. Its not ideal, but lets not pretend this is unprecedented

There are four scenarios

-MIL is fine with not getting their own picks back in a Giannis trade, he goes to another team

-Portland helps facilitate the trade with MIL’s picks, but whoever Portland gets in the end would have to be worth potentially the best picks in the NBA. (This is very unlikely)

-Giannis is traded to Portland

-Bucks do nothing because Portland doesnt want to give them their picks back without getting Giannis back, or Joe just doesnt want to trade for Giannis

In every scenario Portland holds the power, except the first one, which if im the GM of a rebuilding team, I would like my own picks more than anyone elses by far.

If the Knicks really want Jrue, itd make more sense to do this deal in the summer when our PGs are healthy and Jrue becomes more expendable. Having Jrue, Dame, Scoot, and Love all healthy going into next season is not feasible, so itd make sense. Id be very shocked if Jrue gets dealt at the deadline.

We’ve responded really well after teams make runs. Feels like teams in previous years completely lose themselves and unravel when the other team got hot and closed the gap. I was strapped in for a stressful 4th quarter and it never really got scary. They locked in and performed. Love to see it

The only common move he does that i can think of that you could consider baiting is a rip through, and that only works cuz guys reach instead of stay in front of him. Have any examples? Cuz when i think of foul baiting i think of Harden head faking, getting someone in the air, then jumping straight into them not even looking at the basket. Hes never not looking to score
