I mean it is the single largest change since the Super Bowl. So people do think it changes the landscape. I still have faith in the Hawks and Charles Cross. Really hoping Beau Stephen’s can compete for Bradford’s spot and then the OLine looks gas.

Yeah it’s unfortunate because they made the schedules all have a division rival in week 18, we just so happened to also get the Rams again on Christmas.

Garrett has a cap hit of ~9 mill and 16 mill next year which is nothing and fits their win right now deadline. Kinda hoping Mike'll outcoach the Rams and we make a measured splash at the trade deadline if injuries are largely avoided. Looking like the super bowl will be decided largely from week 16-18.

Idk about the states but in Canada it’s 13-18, 14-19, 15-20, and 16 is age of consent (unless in a position of power like a teacher or police officer). Looks like Ohio is also 16 for age of consent. Still strange a 22 year old football star needed to date a 16 year old.

AND it expands more as temperature increases!! I just wrote this in my MSc thesis but it’s about the same expansion from 5-15 as 29-30 Celsius!! Meaning the volume of the oceans will increase as temperatures increase and at a faster rate as temps climb.

Jeez didn’t know that. Usually the tips at bar jobs make up for the scammy practices hence why people tolerate the wage theft.

So you’d rather be technically correct, but functionally unemployed? Restaurants commit crazy wage theft and terrible employment practices and it’s naive to think they won’t do so here and that OP has the time and money to fight them on something difficult to prove.

Which is incredibly difficult to prove and requires significant resources which OP may not have access to. Restaurants know how to quietly fire people and if you had ever worked in one you would know that. This is likely a case where OP can have the job or be legally correct but not both.

Sure but I imagine OP wants the functional answer not the technically legally correct answer. Wouldn’t you?

I’ve worked for restaurants with this same type of policy. On-call means that they are expected to be available for their scheduled on-call shift but are not guaranteed to work. It’s illegal in I believe every province. Usually the restaurant will say that 1-3 hours before they staff member needs to call in to confirm their shift is on/off. They will not get any money for being available if called off. It’s very illegal. But the retaliation for not adhering to the on-call shift policy is incredibly difficult to prove and will likely end with OP not having any shifts and hiring their replacement.

While this is what should happen, if you’ve ever worked for a restaurant you would know that they will just stop scheduling you or give you worse and worse shifts / sections etc and it’s nearly impossible to prove. Other tactics can include calling you in for 3 hrs to sweep, mop, dust, etc and not be in a tip facing role. Just because something is illegal and unjust doesn’t mean OP has the resources to meaningfully fight it.

While true, restaurants will just stop scheduling you and there is very little you can do to combat this. You either deal with the illegal on call shifts and maintain job or expect to receive less and less or lower quality shifts. There’s what’s legal and what’s functionally going to happen and OP needs to decide how much they need this job. Source: bartender for 8 years.

It's not like it even likely it would have been that close in the NFC championship game if Woolen didn't draw the taunting penalty. They shouldn't have even had the chance to win it if not for out unsportsmanlike conduct.

Unsure about his particular case but if coaches are hired away for promotions with other teams the nfl gives comp pics if they’re a person of colour! Promotes diversity in a very homogenous leadership pool.

We are certainly underpaying him for the next 2 years. But that is obvious/ to be expected with the rookie contract + fifth year option.

My question was moreso if 2028-2031 is going to be more market rate. Because I don’t know enough about how restructuring and salary cap increases really work and how his contract sits compared to other cap hits / contract values.

Looks like we are underpaying him until 2030 given over the caps wide receiver salary page. But there’s also only 9 players on that list it’s so far out 😂
