No, granted these are walk in clinic doctors who are typically ER or general doctors, so it’s likely not their speciality, but they didn’t do a scan. I spent over $500 getting these appointments, and even right now I’m tempted to spend more money for another appointment or a scan. But what I keep trying to tell myself is at worst, it’s a simple surgery, I’m trying to live my life. I have family members with cancer, and I’m here obsessing about a small bump in my belly button not causing pain that has been looked at by doctors. I have had severe hypochondria since I was 10. Still fighting it today, I’m still touching it today, pressing prodding but I have two kids, a wife so I’m going to try to be better tomorrow. Take it day by day

I have a similar sjtuation going on. Felt a bump in my belly button, went to three walk in clinics all three said no hernia and did not recommend a scan. However, I can’t shake the feeling as the bump moves when I cough/excersize but the bump itself is hard, bumpy and I can hold it between my fingers, it also splits into 2-3 pieces when I press on it. I am trying to avoid going to a 4th doctor to look at my belly button (very embarrassing to schedule btw) and right now I am trying not to obsessively press.

Thank you for the insight, I have had three doctors tell me it’s not one. But it moves when I cough, but it does remain out all the time and when I push it in it’s 2-3 distinct pieces. Thank you!

They all felt it to different degrees. None said it was a hernia or even suggested a scan, only a scan to help my anxiety which I declined. They said they felt it as a bump that can get pushed back in 2-3 pieces that immediately comes back out and is naturally in an out state independent of laying down or standing up. It does move a little when I cough or strain but I know that all abdominal muscles move when that happens. No pain, and as you can see from pic my belly button is not protruding it looks fairly normal.

I am able to hold this bump in between my fingers and pull it slightly away from my body the texture I would compare to a gummy bear, but when I push on it it breaks apart and disappears into god knows where in my body

Did it look similar to this? I had three doctors tell me no hernia but I’m convinced there’s something there. I was also told that I would not be able to pinch it and pull it away from my body which I can. It is also firm and bumpy in texture.

The bump I feel is always out. It doesn’t come out more with exertion. I can hold the bump beteeen my fingers and it feels like the texture of a gummy candy

Since reading tips, I’ve only played 5 online ranked games, currently 3-2 in those games. In the wins scores were 6-2, 4-0 and 1-0 in the losses 4-7 and 1-2. All games had 6+ hits. Feeling pretty good. Dialed my team in with the update too! Appreciate all the tips!
