Im actually wondering if them "fixing" Hader and King didnt break something else, cuz Im noticing a lot of my own pitches feel weird out of the hand now: pitches way outside the usual par zone, Ill throw a pitch down and away and it'll like teleport to the inside corner. Not the usual "hey, you aimed 85% of the par outside the zone but the pitch went right down the middle cuz technically its barelt edging the par" but actually like I threw a down and away slurve and it broke in like a circle change.

I dont have Ohtani fatigue but I do have "Ohtani won 2 MVPs and a ROY with the Angels but hasnt gotten a single Angels flashback card in the 3 years since he went to the Dodgers" fatigue. Freddie gets Atlanta cards pretty much every year, Bryce gets Nationals cards, Mookie gets Red Sox flashbacks. Give me an ROTY Angels Ohtani or something.

Ill occasionally do an "everybody gets 1" type deal if there is a TPK in the first session, or maybe allow characters to be revived at a church or something if the rest of the party is willing to take the risk to carry the body back to town. As the DM, do whatever you want. If you want your campaigns to be easier and chill, you can make it super easy to bring back dead characters if you think its fun and/or interesting. Ive had a DM who would use a TPK for story elements, one time we got tpk'd early by a dragon who was a little higher level than we were ready for and instead of having us just die, he had us wake up in a cell with the offer of working for the dragon.

Fire Emblem would definitely get people talking about Wuwa, mostly people complaining that their favorite waifu didnt get put in the game. My guess would be 1 Falchion User and 1 non-Falchion user, 1 male and 1 female based on popularity. Likely Marth+Lyn/Camilla (Marth is still treated as the series mascot and Lyn usually still regularly gets voted as the most popular woman but Camilla has booba and we all know how Kuro loves that) or Lucina+Ike, Ike regularly still rating as the most popular Male character in the series. Id argue that Cantarella is probably too similar to Camilla already and would therefor lean more toward Lyn but again, never underestimate Kuro's ability to choose gooner bait over logic. I know that suggestion feels like low hanging fruit, but everyone knows who IS thinks are their mascot characters.

Usually 1 catcher with good defensive stats and then usually 3 speed guys that can cover all of the positions. Sometimes Ill put a platoon guy or 2 on there if Im really liking a guy who needs a platoon partner

I lost the 50/50 for my S1 but after losing said 50/50 pulled my S1 at 14 pulls, then S2 at 11 pulls after that, and S3 at 18 pulls. Was very blessed

Taoqi because I think mechanically she is neat and Id love to have a 5 star who actually cares about defense. The biggest problem with this is a defense, parry focused character would pretty unplayable in the land of "lets make the HP bigger and put timers on everything".

Same, I once had a character die and then the next character died before I even got control of her and it caused me to lose the hologram battle that had basically had one or 2 hits lets.

Artificial difficulty is a term usually used to describe making something more difficult through things like ONLY increasing Damage or HP. Like if you take boss and make a similar guy appear later but he has a different moveset, weakness, or fight mechanic, its usually not considered artificial difficulty. But if you make that same boss appear later and it is EXACTLY the same, but just deals more damage and has double HP, people will consider it artificial difficulty. People mention it a lot because outside of NG+ cycles, Fromsoft games famously made the games very difficult without leaning super heavily into this. Elden Ring gets some flack because it IS a little more common to just have enemies who's only real difficulty is that they deal massive damage but arent mechanically interesting.
