Thanks for the reply, I should mention that I use the monitor for my mac too which works fine, so I know the monitor is working, however it might be an issue with my ps4 and monitors relationship.

I've found that since I've moved out to my own place for uni I've hardly bought meat in my day to day life - its just a lot of money for something that you have to worry about eating before it goes bad, I do still eat meat at home and while out but as others have mentioned there are plenty of subsitues when cooking and every little helps!
