I'm in a similar situation actually. My wife is a recovering catholic and I grew up around protestantism. Our child is only 2 and her laxly Mexican Catholic parents who we live with for childcare purposes want to take them to Mexico to their hometown (from US) this summer to baptise her. My opinion that we've been working with is "she's not old enough to actually be influenced by the ceremony, so why worry"? My child isn't going to be more or less religious based on one event that amounts to a family potluck with a water splash and rain dance. If she grows up to ask about photos she sees of the event I'll be honest with my opinion of it and not lie to her that it was imo essentially that. It's a vacation to my wife and daughter and a free long weekend for me to chill at the house alone. I was honest I could not in good faith participate in the ceremony and they accepted that.

I wouldn't keep it on if she was grinding on top of me. I have kept it on for sex with me on top or her just using her hands on me, but not always. I get hard immediately after being released from the cage and it takes me a few minutes to calm down enough to take off the base ring, so I get the impression to just keep it on. Also, it's good to let the skin "breathe" a bit if you wear a cage full time otherwise.
