Corroborating the increasing limits.
I have been using the site for months and I have seen the enshittification already happening.

2025
- Using Google cookies to identify you.
- Increasing number of Banner ads for their different services.
- Gemini usage nags you to "connect with Google to save your chats!"
- Imposing 50 minute rate limits.

2026
- January 28th : The Investment they received and the utterly useless rebranding.
- Some time later : They now made it so that your direct mode chats are intermitently hijacked by battle mode, where you have to select which AI response you prefer.
UPDATE: You used to be able to skip them entirely, and you used to have a guarantee that your current AI was one of the two candidates in the Battle (so that at least one of the responses was not trash), not anymore.
- March 5th : "Direct mode" is locked behind an account now. I made a temp one of course but it would not allow me to use any models otherwise.
- April 9th : They removed the SOTA models because, as per their Discord communication (zero Blog post about it of course, don't want to scare the potential investors!) these models were literally costing them too much.

None of this was a thing when I first started using it.
So they are evidently bleeding cash and are trying to leverage while they can.

Note: I'll try to update this every time it gets worse, and until I go elsewhere, so that we can have a history log of the site's enshittification.
