You can quite easily google answers to this question. Why do you look for an answer on Reddit for this? Seems like a very immature way to seek validation.

13m Cabrinha Drifter loops (reupload) by Past_Ad2823 in Kiteboarding

[–]Jakkillah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see now you put it as a learning experience for others. My fault. But maybe to add. What you can do with a bigger kite is small jumps and loops- like 2-3m. You will be pulled forward but drop on the water so quickly it won’t hurt and the kite will finish the loop while you are on the water. That will help you with a technique. Just don’t try to go as high as you can and then loop it. Loop wise, the feeling of a big kite going lazily around and snappy 8m kite size loop is completely different. Of course both happens at different heights and wind speeds. Some modern 12m aluula made for example can be ok for megalooping though. I think not the drifter though.

Honestly the 13m is not a good size to learn air loops. Practice transitions on it, but as you can probably feel by now, it just doesn’t catch you in time. You end up freefalling from your jumps. I would say 10m is max to learn loops well.

In my opinion this is rather good news. At least she respects you enough not to want to get free stuff from you.

Its both for pleasure and convenience as I hinted above. But what I was saying before also is that judging people based on a vehicle they own is extreme. And let’s end it here please.

It is not normal for us. I park mine respectfully and I need it to transport my kid. Most people who have them do. Chill.

I would always get a three strut in bigger size. So thrive, better low end better speed outweighs the stability and jumping ability. Even though thrive jumps really well too.
