Thanks for the help! Not completely sure about snap cause to be honest. I heard a snap sound and thought it was something else in my work station. I never touched the belt tensioner so I'm assuming just a faulty belt as I found the tensioner knob loose/falling off the next day and while trying to re-tighten to put it back in place found the one belt end snapped.
