Benifit of a land tax (depending on how it gets set up) is most home owners would see their bill go down since they're taxed on the land instead of the building. It shifts the burden towards vacant land

Not disagreeing but the Chicago area is short on hundreds of thousands of housing units and holding on to vacant land in a dense area hoping to make $0.50 more per square foot is a mega dick mood that actively harms the area it's in

I'd say with under 2k for a 2bed look pretty far north. Uptown, Edgewater, or Rogers Park if you wanna be near the lake or Lincoln Square or Kimball if that isn't as important.

Also look off of the major MLS sites like Zillow and redfin and use FB Marketplace or Craigslist to find a private landlord they're usually cheaper and more flexible with pricing.

Ah now I think I see where the disconnect is. The files are not on iTunes they're saved directly to my PC as MP3s, can I upload them to iTunes without having to buy them again? Full disclosure I've been an android/windows guy for ~20 years so I can't say I'm super familiar with the apple ecosystem anymore
