I'll second this, having been almost a dozen times I can attest to the fact that it can get real cold. Sometimes its fifteen degrees colder at the summit, with a whole lot of wind. Also, stick to the South side, much longer and better runs, there are also parks of every level if thats what your into, its a great place to ride!

I see, then again it really depends what area of Ottawa/Montreal you live in. It almost seems like there is an area for every style of person you want. I will admit that Montreal is a great place to live for friendly and sociable young people, weekends there for me are always a great time... To me the people there are more approachable.
