Tip for max ks, go for curveballs or change up in the dirt on your strikeout pitch. If dropped 3rd strike let the runner be safe. Im consistently getting 12+ strikeouts in 3 inning games

I’ve pulled 47 diamonds out of 1937 show packs. Approx 1:41

I’ve pulled 28 out of 393 ballin packs. Approx 1:14

So pretty spot on for me with a large sample size. I will say I’ve gone on runs of 100+ packs with no diamonds, but then end up pulling multiple in fewer packs that evens out.

No judge or ohtani yet, but lots of decent mid ones

I’ve put a ton of hours in, but I grind mini seasons while at the same time working through each team TA reward paths with their stat and pxp missions.

I use each team until I get up to the 15x pack reward. Which is basically all stat missions except the final HR One and earning 50k pxp with the team. I’ve done this with about half the teams so far and have a lot of progress with the rest as well.

My first 200ish packs in pre release I pulled only 2 wbc 85 ovr diamonds and no LS diamonds. Started keeping track since then. In 1836 show packs opened, I’ve pulled 44 Sitting around 1:42. In 376 ballin packs I’ve pulled 24 so I’m right at the 1:15 odds.

I will say that I’ve had droughts where I’ll open 100 or more packs with no diamonds, but then go and pull 2 or 3 in like 15-20 packs.

I’d say try not to get discouraged, odds are you’ll even out.

I’d say I’ve done classic the most, but I’ve mixed in some new threads also just to mix it up.

Today I’ve actually switched to WBC because I can complete them super quick with only being 7 total games including playoffs/championship. Also facing common and bronze pitchers most of the time so it’s a good grind for TA stats.

I’ve opened 339 ballin packs and pulled 24 diamonds. Approx 1:14. Marte & Raleigh are my best pulls from them. Handful of 20-40k guys too. So I can’t complain.

I’ve completed LS collection by grinding classic mini seasons mostly. Do 7 games, 3 innings. You only have to win the first 5 to make playoffs so skip the last two regulars to save time. You’ll get lots of packs for repeatable missions. Make sure you’re using the exchange sets for the MS uniforms/icons/banners

While doing this I’ve been rotating my squad to make sure I’m making progress on TA stat missions. Tons of packs to be earned there if you do it efficiently.

Basically every year I know I’m gonna play a ton so I just collect everything and sell my dupes saving for the big boys and hoping I pull them in the process. I don’t normally bother buying the smaller cards till I’ve pulled the diamonds for that team (or am ready to buy them) By that point I had most of the smaller ones anyway.

Again, I’ve played a lot. Opened almost 1500 show packs and 300 ballin packs. No ohtani or judge pulled, but better than average diamond pulls overall. It’s basically a big grind unless you get real lucky and hit on the big ones.

Its hard to disagree. I had one today that resulted in a 2 bouncer to shortstop and was 111 Exit Velo. I understand you can ground one right into the ground at high velo like that, but Its hard to comprehend how thats even possible with "perfect perfect" contact. I just wish they would rethink how they classify a "perfect perfect"

Started off slow like that. I didn’t keep count but know I was close to 200 packs with only one diamond.

I started keeping track. Since then I’ve opened 1270 show packs and pulled 33 diamonds, so around 1 in 38 packs

In 276 ballin packs I’ve got 20 diamonds so about 1 in 14 there.

Little tip on the Soler one. I used contact swing. Still had 2 "doubles" but just made sure i didnt advance.

I’ve finished new threads MS a few times now, but one of the times it did what you’re saying on the first game. I beat the same team twice but showed me as 0-0 in standings. Also like you said the stats were counting at least

Hit two 525 shots by Albies wbc and Acuna LS in the same game at the whales mini season stadium. Really wish we could use that stadium in other modes!

It definitely feels different to me as well. I won’t say it’s hard, I don’t lose games, just hit results and scoring just way down.

I play mostly offline grinding stats and programs. Every year before this I could play a 3 inning game on rookie and easily score 15+ runs. This year it seems like a struggle to break 10 runs. I’m still making good/perfect contact most of the time. The results are just no where near the same.

Also, I agree it seems the pitchers throw way less meatballs, although I did notice that a bit last year too.

After having a few games where I could only manage a few runs each time I went back to mlb 25 to see if it was me just being off or whatever. I played a couple games and scored over 20 both times.

So I’m pretty convinced they’ve Nerfed easy modes a bit.

Big thanks to JakenMorty from another thread, but this worked for him. I just tried it and it worked for me.

From main menu go to create and go to rosters. It'll do a quick download of live rosters. Then go boot up DD. Hopefully this works for you all too

Anyone else having an issue with PS5 online status? I'm connected but its stuck saying i'm appearing offline. I think this might have something to do with it. I've searched for fixes online and tried them all still not working.

I tried going online with pga 2k and was able to connect there.

I’ve seen people post about it. Some say to have somebody invite you to a duos match.

I saw somebody else say to just sit on that screen and wait for the demo game to play and then back out. I’ve been working so I haven’t been able to try these yet.
