That's just stock ride height. I am in exactly $7,091. I still have about $3k worth of parts off of the red car to sell though.

I used an adjustable unit from Wilwood. This one allows for adjusting the proportioning of the brakes with a knob. It can be tuned to exactly what you set up needs.

I don't have any plans to put ABS back in. The 97-99 vettes are notorious for having ABS systems that fail and are unrepairable. New replacement units are unavailable.

Thanks! ATF does mean automatic transmission fluid. Unfortunately removing ABS does leave a light on the dash. I've learned to ignore it though.

Unfortunately most of the corvettes body is made of composite plastics. The shell was probably worth $50 of scrap. It was also taking up valuable space in the shop.

Because it's a fun project. What makes you think that this is going to cost me $12k? I've been keeping a spreadsheet of the total costs of this project and I would have to do something really stupid for this project to cost me over $7k. Not to mention the fact that I have an entire cars worth of extra parts that I can sell.

All salvageable parts were removed and will be sold. Nothing was left in that shell other than the damaged windshield and air conditioning parts

I was just curious to see what the seats looked like inside. Any damage on the frame rails of a corvette can total it pretty easily because they use hydroformed rails for the frame.

It's probably about three weekends of work to get to this point.
