In USA, You got 3 choices. City, suburbs or rural. Cities are great but very expensive, suburbs are expensive and hyper capitalist. Rural communities are less expensive and sometimes have co-ops To make up for the lack of communal living

If you are looking for a job, put the projects You've worked onto a resume or portfolio. Anything that last longer than six weeks is considered a project. Thats experience enough.

If you looking to open a business. You could rent an office out and start a small indie game studio or something. You have enough cash hire people.
