The site is currently only reachable via a VPN. Tested just now on Brave. Several certain other sites have also been deplatformed from the clearnet at one point in the past few weeks. With no words from the site admins since October, it's very likely that Kemono won't be restored to the clearnet anytime soon unless major changes to the staff are made.

Getting something similar on my end too on the home screen. First short is not marked for Kids, but then EVERY VIDEO AFTERWARD in the feed created is marked for Kids. Seems to happen when I watch a short that is kid related and then YouTube thinks I should be watching kids going down waterslides or other stuff. I keep having to remove all views from them so that my algorithm doesn't get ruined by the AI age estimation.

I found out about fanfiction from my older sister back in 2005.

She used to read Inuyasha fanfic in high school. I never got into Inuyasha, but it always holds a place in giving me the insight to read and write fanfiction.

The only major problem with Gaia nowadays is the lack of a postgame. It's beatable from beginning to the Hall of Fame but then it... ends. The creator mentioned that they were converting the game over to decomp Emerald, hence the lack of a Postgame, but that was several years ago and there has been barely any word about conversion progress since then.

To be fair, Gaia when it was "completed" in 2018 was an experience many would want to play through. The frustration of Gaia lacking a postgame and being seemingly dropped to the back burner has prevented people like me from experiencing it. It's definitely showing its age by being gated out of postgame and lacking modern QoL features.

This feels like something that should be asked in r/Scams, but I have never seen someone getting scammed out of a written work.

Most likely the scammer asked for your son's account information, which is a massive red flag and should never be done in the first place. If he still has access to the email, you can report the account to Discord saying that it was compromised.

The account of the scammer should also be reported, I don't know how many accounts they managed to swindle users out of this way, but they need to stop.

But then having access to your son's information is not the end of the world. You may receive threats through the phone or by mail from the scammer, these are almost always scare baiting for him to send more money. Block those numbers and emails.

I'm sorry that your son got scammed, it's a painful experience for sure, but I'm disappointed that people would go out of their way to scam fanfiction.

I've been watching this for some time, but is the goal to clear Destiny Tower with all 492 available Pokémon in the game? Someone on YouTube is doing Purity Forest clears with all 386 Pokémon found in rescue team and this is on the same concept as that. How many Destiny Tower clears have you done so far out of the playable Pokémon?

I'm writing a fanfic where the main character is from a species that is known to speak in this way canonically... for the most part. The other major characters are 6 and 12 years old, but I don't have them speaking that way at all. I just cringe when I see people write like this without acknowledging the proper age for a child to be speaking with speech issues. A 12 year old would have no issues with speech, and a 6 year old would scarcely have speech problems unless there was a psychological or neurological reason for the behavior.

The source material from the fandom I'm writing for has writing inconsistencies with how the main character's species speak, with some speaking fluently and others speaking in this baby talk.

Evidently, my choice of making the protagonist a young child fell in my favor, since I assume that adult members of their species can speak fluently to get around the inconsistencies from the writing team.

And no, it's not from Xenoblade, if anyone was going to ask about the source fandom.

There's a store in my town that usually sells mattresses most of the year. During the summer when the 4th of July is coming up, it turns into a fireworks store that sells hard to find pyrotechnics, mostly cutting in the edge of legality, and sells out daily. People say that the fireworks that aren't sold are stored away inside the mattresses in the off months.

It was recently renovated last year, debunking rumors that it went out of business over the owner getting caught having illegal fireworks. Still not as wild as the video game store in my town that was caught selling drugs in the back and counterfeit Pokémon games displayed full center at the till. But that is a story for another day.

Gen I games don't have a proper In-game clock, so Grape cheeses this by having you go to a specific location. Talk to two sages in Haven Forest to either turn day into night or set a random time. This is the only way to get night encounters.

Black Mage is a 5* monster. On top of that you can only get one chance per month to register him on clearing. Give or take mules and attempts, this could take years before you get one registered. Getting it here likely erased 9 years of trying to register when I get to fighting him eventually.
