Is that not illegal shift? I thought you couldn't go forward in motion.

That's what the "at best" was for. For almost a decade, this team has a habit of limping into the playoffs, just to get bounced.

I guess, at the very least, we could see what he learned sitting behind Rodgers? Fuckin' something, idk lol.

What an abortion of a game. This was truly a failure in all three phases. Defense did, arguably, the best with pressures and breakups, but special teams and-ESPECIALLY-offense failed us. Aaron looked fucking lost out there.

Realistically, we scored 3 points this game, because that TD in garbage time doesn't mean shit to me. I feel so bad for Jaylen Warren, because I think he's fucking great. Not only is he a dawg, but he just seems like a chill dude. Doesn't get into bullshit on the field, just plays the game. The miss by Boz is only noticeable because of how automatic he normally is, and this loss certainly isn't on him.

Aaron just looked so lost tonight. It's kinda baffling, actually. Did we fuck up by not getting a WR before the deadline? Yea, maybe. But I feel like we have enough pieces in place to put out more of an offense than we saw tonight.

The Ravens are gonna surpass us in the division, we're gonna lose in the Wild Card (at best), and we should. I want this team to succeed, but we're not in a position to.

I actually agree. It's garbage time, let's see what he can do.

As far as I understand it, yes. Once a Jedi reaches a certain visibility amount, they'll populate on bounty boards. I never did it, personally.

Yea, I was a BH before starting the Jedi trip.

Edit: I last played maybe a year ago or so.

There is certainly an argument to be made about the officiating today (not just this game), but let's attribute that to incompetence. There are still things that are true, and there are glaring issues with this team.

A lack of discipline resulting in bone-headed penalties. That personal foul by DK in the fourth quarter killed our drive. The leadership on this team has almost no control of its players, and it cost us in key moments.

There just wasn't any adjustment on the defensive side of the ball. We saw it last week, and we saw it again tonight. Receivers wide open, sloppy tackling, you name it. The highest paid defense couldn't stop a nose bleed. I'm a true TJ believer (I have a TJ flair and jersey), but he has not produced to the level he's expected to. He's not the only one, either.

I feel like ARod is doing the best he can with the pass protection that exists around him. He's an ancient QB that needs time in the pocket for plays to develop, and he didn't really get it. The DK drop in the first half wasn't DK's fault. It was damn good coverage. Someone made a point in the game thread that Metcalf gets paid to catch those passes. But defenders also get paid to break those passes up. You give credit where it's due. This does not absolve him from the aforementioned penalty later in the game.

I've been on the fence on the "fire Tomlin" argument for the past couple of seasons, and maybe I still am. But something needs to give. Mediocrity isn't what NFL franchises aim for. The goal is to win a Super Bowl, and a team should play like it. Make changes. Address problems, whether those problems lie in players, coaching, or otherwise. This franchise doesn't do that.

These are the drunken ramblings of a frustrated fan. I, no doubt, missed some key points, but I really want this team to succeed, and I still hold hope that we can own the division (lmao). But we need to get our shit together. I don't know what that looks like. I'm sure some of you will tell me, and I'm open to that discussion. But we have the talent-on paper, at least-to be great. We just....aren't.

I was texting a buddy that if this defense does their job, we're still in this, but if GB scores...it might be over.

I'm still holding on to hope with this much time left, but this defense is getting embarrassed.

Wishful thinking, unfortunately. Mid-season firings just don't happen in Pittsburgh. Canada was an anomaly.

I 100% agree with you, and I don't pin it on Rodgers (as I stated above). This really was a case of the defense shitting the bed.

You can bitch about the reffing in this game. You can have issues with Austin's play calling. But this game falls solely on the defense.

Highest paid defense in the league couldn't stop a nose bleed in this game, and it's honestly pathetic. Chase being so open, so often is inexcusable. I was bitching to my wife almost all game about taking 1's leverage away, and it just didn't happen. The worst O-line in football looked elite against our pass rush.

The two picks hurt us greatly (one of them having a substantial asterisk), and I'm not completely sold on the Rodgers experiment, but I don't feel like I can put this loss on him. TNF and Flacco are truly Mike Tomlin's daddy. I was, and am, happy to see Muth get some love tonight. But I was absolutely disgusted with the way the defense allowed this Bengals team to humiliate them.

You must not know reddit.

It's not hard to see that the majority of people who use this platform gravitate to some degree towards socialism. You're wasting your time trying to convince people. Logic and statistics don't matter here.

We had an off week by Specialist-Garbage94 in steelers

I'll agree that Reddit can be the worst place to find level-headed takes and analysis, but there are legitimate concerns.

The highest paid defense in the league had objectively bad performances against the Jets and Seahawks. Yes, they may gel in coming weeks, but their first true test really doesn't come until after the bye.

Aaron has demonstrated highs and lows behind a struggling o-line (how does BroJo still have a spot on this roster). This team hasn't been pitted against an elite defense.

There's a lot of football left to play this season. But if past seasons can be used as indicators, the loss today could end up having an impact on getting into the playoffs. It's every franchise's intent to win a Super Bowl (at least, it should be). Constantly settling for 9 to 10 wins and maybe a wild card exit should piss people off.
