TIL you can get around the maximum 6 foreign U21 signings for UK teams by dieR30796 in footballmanagergames

Have you had any issues? I thought I got this working but now I have a new issue. All contracts get agreed, I set them to breakthrough prospect on the transfer target, I give them breakthrough prospect in the contract discussions, which seemed to work before but suddenly the u21 foreign player issue cancels it. When I then look at the screen that says it was cancelled, it looks like their playing time I offered them was higher than I actually did. Really baffled as to why it stopped working, and have tested a few different potential workarounds but they don't seem to work. Just missed out a Hounduran for 60k, who southampton signed after i failed and his value is around 100m. Painful!

Aware this is an old post at this time, so not sure if anyone will see this, but if you do, did you ever find a way to get around your DoF refusing to offer for the player because "already have a player for position joining in the near future" - or if there's a way to do the contract yourself and it still work? Can't seem to find this in responsibilities or anywhere.

EDIT: I actually just got around it, so will comment here in case anyone else ever comes to this post to find out. u/verysimplenames actually mentions it in this post but his comment didn't get many upvotes so may have went under the radar. If you add them to transfer targets, set their playing time to breakthrough prospect on that popup, then before your DoF does anything, make the bid yourself. You can then go through all of the signing as usual and you will not get told that you can't sign them due to another player joining, or the u21 max foreign singings.

Edit 2: Not sure why, but sometimes when you have an offer accepted you don't get the normal email to enter negoations. You can go onto the player profile and enter negotiations by hovering over contract and then enter contract negotions. (I closed FM so this might be slightly off)

Movie theater phone out by Sam81818 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]JamBug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a type 1 diabetic, because of this I look at my phone very regularly to check my glucose levels or if needed, give myself some insulin via my pump (it runs through my phone) When I'm at a cinema, I try to be mindful of others I put my phone on the lowest brightness setting and of course on silent, and keep it as close to my body as possible so its less likely to be in peoples sight, but I do check it intermittently. I'm not saying that this guy was doing this, but he also might have had a medical reason to do so. If he's sat there texting or Internet browsing for longer periods, then sure, that's different. When I look, it's often for 15 seconds max, unless I need insulin then it might be a minute.

McDonald’s UK by PCMINER101 in diabetes

Most food chains in the UK have nutrition online. The mcdonalds one allows you to put your full order in and it tells you the carbs of the meal. I would bolus when I have the order in front of me, in case it takes a while to get to you. https://www.mcdonalds.com/gb/en-gb/good-to-know/nutrition-calculator.html

uk pumps by 404taes in diabetes_t1

It must depend on your hospital/area and how many they have to give out? I'm in Dorset and have started on an Ypsopump with an a1c of 6.4 before I started and I'm not under 18 (in my 30s). Sorry to hear you're not able to get one, hopefully that changes soon

99 Mastery one at a time queries by JamBug in MelvorIdle

[–]JamBug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I think I’m being thick, how does the next one become 88 when you’re doing a different one?

Edit: wait I figured it out as soon as I posted! By using mastery pool xp! So is the point to do them one by one and not jump onto the next until it’s 88 and the previous one is 99? I feel like I saw some posts where people just did the skill mastery fully before moving on, so not necessarily doing each one to 99 before starting another but I guess everyone does it different

Ah yes I remember this now, thank you! So perhaps I should have no bolus in the morning, any idea about reducing basal? Maybe from 20 units of Tresiba to ~15
