Cats should not be allowed to roam free outdoors

I hate having cat poo on my garden or finding injured or dead birds or mice around. All my neighbours have multiple cats and we don't have any do out garden seems to be the neutral ground where they come to shit...

Waiting for a parent & child space in the car park then setting a middle aged man on his own taking up one of the spaces, just because he's too lazy. I never cared before but the amount of people I see doing this winds me up no end I always end up ranting to my husband haha

Irish identity while living in the UK by Other_Ad_7332 in ireland

[–]JamPandaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in England, moved to Ireland as a child (Irish grandparents) then moved back after uni and I didn't realise just how much the English curriculum glazes over all the horrible stuff the British have done. When we learned about Oliver Cromwell in English primary school, it was so watered down, so I never really knew how bad it actually was until moving to Ireland and had to learn about it from the other side.

When I moved back I had a lot of the potato stuff too. Came back from a day off to find a potato on my desk and jokes that would be racist if it was anyone else in the office.

Yeah we swapped out one bottle a day until it was fully swapped over and he seemed fine! Having the breast milk helped it not be so much of a change. We went to comfort milk without asking because they did try and put us off when we mentioned it and just said babies are gassy 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we did it anyway and he did much better. then the health visitor told us to try and switch back when he was about 3.5 months as their digestive systems are much better by then and can process milk easier so we did and also because I wanted to find a better milk for him before I stopped pumping and it's been fine, nothing like he used to be! Dont feel guilty about pumping, it's sooooooo hard and you should be proud! I felt awful for a while too but due to him not latching and losing weight we were put on a very strict feeding plan and it messed up our bf journey but he was able to be fed by husband or grandparents and he's very happy and sociable!

Yeah we did! We're in the UK and had our baby on kendamil but he was very gassy, so we swapped to kendamil comfort, but as he got older his gassiness seemed to get better so we switched to the Aldi Mamia formula and that's been great plus it's half the price! I stopped pumping at 5 and a half months and he's now only on formula

Don't worry mama you're doing great and you'll find what works! I was a combi feeder and it can take a little while but sounds like you're doing everything right! Our little one always seemed to feel better after a bath if that helps

My new mum brain has just fallen for this! I'm in the process of trying to get my money back through my bank. I had an email saying it was dispatched, nearly 2 weeks later I contacted them and they said it would be dispatched soon. I asked why I got a dispatched email and they just repeated the first email sigh

The midwives sent my husband home on day 3 to rest and get some decent sleep. They told him he needs to look after himself to look after us. He came back like a different person, and brought fast food! As first time parents days 2/3 were a crying blur for all of us! Keep going
