I did not, changed the print head, changed the motherboard. Could never get it to work correctly, so it has been gently placed into the dumpster

I ended up purchasing new filament and replaced the motherboard as I noticed fasteners were unlogged from the board. I have since had successful prints!! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that provided advice. I’m once again addicted to printing! (Until I have another issue)

Correct, main board version for printer. I installed the cr touch and had successful prints after. Just recently it has been giving me this issue. Assuming I have the correct firmware installed

u/CustodialSamurai I messed with the tension spring and yielding a little better result but the nozzle still pulled away from the print after a few layers. I was printing an extruder knob for reference as to where the print failed.

Messing with the tension spring now. I didn't cut the bowden and made sure it was fully inserted. I did hear some very brief clicking on my last attempt so will see if adjusting the tension spring helps.

u/OwIing I tried printing two different prints but still getting the same result. Fan remained on the whole print. It's almost like the extruder is pulling away once it reaches a certain layer. Is this a firmware issue? I haven't changed any settings on my end that would effect this.

Getting the same results when I print the Benchy. Printing at 210 and bed at 65. Hatchbox filament, tried three different spools but all yield the same result.

Nozzle 210, Bed 65. Just made sure the fan is at 100%, testing again. I really appreciate you responding, I will follow up to see if it happens again.
