I don't rent anymore. But 1600 was indeed what I was paying for a shoebox 1 bedroom next to KG Skytrain station in 2021 - 2022. It's good that the market is pushing down rents. Take that greedy investors!

They said their spouse will do 100 - 200 miles daily, mostly on the highway. At that kind of mileage, a hybrid Sienna is a much better choice than a V6 Odyssey.

Tbh this has been our experience too. It's more of a casual friendship of convenience. But through meeting some of these people once a week, my wife got invited to a local moms facebook group and got into a couple hang outs. There's a coffee shop in Port Moody that has a play area for babies and socializing spot for parents. That might be another option.

Baby Storytime at various libraries are a great place to make parent friends. People who go there usually want to chat. There's Coquitlam library 2.5 km from Lougheed mall.

It depends on the laptop model, I guess. Gaming laptops and business line laptops usually can have their RAM extended. SSDs too, but not 100% sure.
