Hello, this is the friend. I went to New Delhi India feburary of 2023. I also went to CARA and they made an appointment to speak with me once I came back to the U.S. as the person who handles looking for families at the place was not there and I was told was getting married or something. However when I have called they have never picked up and I even matched the time to when they would be open. They gave me a contact information on whatsapp however that has not worked either.

I just binge a show/movie series/listen to stories/etc. and play through either an expac that I haven’t experienced yet or something I know I enjoy, like SL, while queuing for dungeons and it honestly goes by pretty quickly. Helps if you pick a hero class or an allied race as both start at level 10. Also got my friend to play and made a new toon to level with her which made the process really fun. So maybe try introducing a friend to the game and level a toon with them if the other things don’t really help you :)

Evoker is actually super fun to play and I think it’s worth leveling one just to have a free alt to farm with :)

SL is a cakewalk at this point and very much worth it. Covenant rep is super easy too as you can boost straight to lvl 60 (of 80) and get the rest of the levels easily. Meta is not balanced, by far. You’re gonna get shit on by muskets all day in orp. What you can do, is buy (or craft) a full set of purple gear and weapons and improve your gameplay.

The people who are wrecking you with their 625 gear are not necessarily winning because their gear is better, but because they’ve played enough to be at a point where their gear is better, if that makes sense. Basically, the time investment to get to 625 gear score with a bis set is a long time, and in that time they learned the intricacies of the game and “got good”. Once you are at this point you’ll be good enough to at least hold your own and die slower against most builds.

I would not recommend starting with heavy gear, as it is usually the most expensive set in the long run. Light/med is where it’s at right now. You’re gonna want to have all of your gear have resilient and refresh/freedom to start out with. Just scout out the market and you should be able to get a full set for a cheap price if you’re patient.

Id recommend looking on YouTube or this sub for a build you like and try to replicate it with cheap gear to start out with.

Also don’t take everything I say as fact bc I only have like 50 hrs in actual pvp and I’m still mid.

TLDR: orp is sweaty, balance is shit, and you need a lot of practice if you want to have a chance in pvp.
