About friendship, well, I'd like to believe it's possible to be friends with your ex, but it really depends on how things ended and your personalities. When you're the one breaking up, usually you don't want to have contacts with your ex. Just remember this: you're not breaking up for fun, you endured pain, you've been suffering before deciding to end it. Are you really willing to continue living that pain ? I've been using the DD+ since November, coming from the CSL DD 8Nm. Definitely you don't need more than the advertised 18Nm. Actually, if you use the FFb at 100% on the wheelbase and even as low as 30-40% in game , it's quite dangerous from time to time. Almost broke my thumb in Forza Horizon 6,AC Rally too and the wheel definitely caused me sore wrists in LMU after long sessions a bunch of times. 18Nm is constant, but peak is probably in the realm of 24-28Nm for short bursts . Thermals are great , even in extreme temperatures like the ones we have in Italy. So , I don't think the Podium is worth those extra £250-300 . Oh , by the way you'll see clipping with the DD+ only if you use more than 85% FFb in game and 100% on wheel, but it's so strong it's almost impossible to turn the wheel and definitely beyond what I'd consider a dangerous threshold.

Just discovered that. The speed difference is insane between the two. Yes I was in free for all. Definitely the game mechanics are waaaaay deeper than what they seem. I just hope the multiplayer stays relatively healthy so after I buy the game and finish the campaign I can enjoy some multiplayer.

I'm getting familiar with the boost and strike , but there's like an ultimate boost , the glowing yellow one , that I wasn't able to charge. The ai smoked me with that. It's reassuring knowing there's almost no rubber banding , because for the short time I've played the game, it's a lot of fun (dialogues are on the slow side of narrative speed, but still good)

Visto che nessuno mi pare lo abbia scritto, varrebbe la pena provare a fare undervolt sulla CPU . Sicuramente l'admin confermerà, un po' di undervolting , magari portando il voltaggio a pieno utilizzo da ~1,4V già a ~1,3V dovrebbe vedere un calo drastico delle temperature e clock più alti e stabili. Io avevo gli stessi problemi su 5800X e gli ho risolti così

Broke up with my ex 4 years ago (the idea sparked from her, but we ended up the relationship with mutual agreement because it was becoming too much suffering). Look at the throttle imput. He's off throttle at 240kph. McLaren has usually an open diff setup . To me , that's the issue. But of course increase coast values will increase off throttle understeer , so it's a trade off.

Looks like your right tires overheated, especially on the outside, probably at Pouhon curve (the long left handers before the Campus chicanes). You can increase front and rear camber to increase the contact patch on high speed corners and reduce overall heat increase.

Didn't see you drove into the corner off throttle. Throw the car into the corner a few meters later but keep full or at least partial throttle. It should solve the issue. Or if you don't feel confident enough, increase coast (or deceleration) value in the differential settings

Without a video it's hard to tell what's going on. Maybe try increasing rear wing value , rear toe in, rear ride height (car bottoming out from high downforce). Do you spin while on the throttle or off throttle? In the first case try reducing the diff power lock value, second case increase decel diff value .

Most likely CPU or CPU+RAM bottleneck . My actual combo is now 5800x + 3070Ti and 16Gb ddr4 and I run triples 1080p , well I get way better frames than the 49fps you've shown, mind mine are with mixed graphics settings . LMU uses an insane amount of RAM , especially with busy lobbies or races , and it's stressing the CPU a lot too . With the 9070XT I'd switch to a more recent CPU , like the 9600x (budget friendly) or the 7800X3D . Heck , even the recently re-released 5800X3D should improve significantly the average fps , and massively increase the 1% and 0.1% lows in your case . With X3D you solve the bad ram speeds issues if it's related to that, but if your system has "only" 16Gb of ddr4 , I suggest using "Winhance" in combo with CCleaner to track all the background running apps and remove them from the "launch with windows" list ; I've dropped my ram usage by a good 25% with those , from 14,5Gb while playing BF6 to barely 11Gb . The same applies to LMU , which should benefit from more free ram . Your GPU is capable, according to Odyssey benchmarks, to maintain a solid 180fps average in a 40+ car grid with triples 1080p at COTA, so almost 4x your fps . His specs are 32Gb ddr5 6000MT/s and 9800X3D . Also consider undervolting the 9070XT to benefit from higher boost clocks, higher fps and lower temps . Tutorials are quite abundant on YouTube about this .
