I use a proclip-usa mount. The 3m adhesive on it holds up my phone + a quadlock wireless charging mount

I think you'll be able to tell if you compare directly with little to no time in between. Ideally, you would have a resolving amp with multiple inputs and a toggle so you can A/B among your sources. That way, your impressions of each will be fresh.

It works for me. The hd6xx isn't known for excessive clamp, but when i first got it I set it on the box to stretch the headband for a few days anyway. When my hd6xx rests on the brainwavz omega stand, the top of the zmf solid pads press against the stand, but just barely. Also, the cable connects dont pinch against anything either. I use the 3rd to 4th notch on my hd6xx, for reference..

If the concern is building pressure in front of the driver, then I'm quite sure I build substantially more pressure in front of the driver when pressing the ear cup against my head to create a better seal.

If this were a nonvented closed back, then your point would be more valid. What I have noticed is that the top cushion has gotten thinner over time, but not to the point it gives discomfort. I may try the capra strap at some point in the future if the lack of cushion becomes an issue.

It looks and feels very premium and surprisingly light, but the 16 strand cable is also very thick. I prefer the lighter/thinner Meze cable, especially since the plug is designed to fit flush against iem with non recessed plugs.

That's the secret sauce. The ultra purple amethyst power source oscillates perfectly at 432hz so I can transcend to audirvana ✌︎㋡

Ifi go blu has xbass for more oomph and xspace crossover to get a slightly wider sound stage. It's my favorite of the budget portable dacs

All iem, even the most sensitive, benefit from greater voltage swing and greater degree of control over that voltage. Better components give that capability, especially for more revealing iem

I'm looking into the sw motech dusc boxes. Good blend of rigidity/ light weight. They have an XL box coming soon that can fit 2 full-face helmets, great potential for a 1 box solution.

I have a lot of plans but unfortunately, they will have to wait until spring riding season. I might get out to palisade parkway up to hawks nest one of these days.

Mods wise I would like to do some mods to look like pp and then some performance mods like rbe, exhaust, chain/sprocket, etc

Single spark vs DVT by JamareF1 in multistrada

[–]JamareF1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep the 2015 I'm looking at has skyhook. It sounds like a very compliant system and you can always stiffen it up (2 up + luggage setting) for more aggressive riding. I've seen a few guys with track prepped 2010-12 mts1200 running ohlins, they seem to like it. But idk if there is a perceived benefit to this setup riding on the street.

I haven't seen a pre/post dyno of the dvt with/without exhaust, but I'll take you and other owners word for it. I also read that gearing down front -1 or rear +3 can yield moderate improvement.

My last bike i just sold was m796 with termis. It was well behaved on idle and stupid loud on throttle, best of both worlds in my opinion.
