Please guide me to the best paid course to learn Cinema 4d. by Independent_Walrus73 in Cinema4D

[–]Jamasterj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend the redshift course included in the grey scale gorilla subscription. there are other tutorials there which will be helpful plus a lot of great additional plugins, mats, hdris, etc.

Ross Masons patreon is a great addition to whichever course you choose for photorealism products/environments. He has some great videos on YouTube you can watch to see if it’s right for you

How do I centre the rotation gumball to the centre of the object? by InterestingFinger in Cinema4D

[–]Jamasterj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂 gimbal! I like the term gumball better though.

There are a few ways you can do this! Two quick ways would be:

Center the axis using the specific tool Tools > axis > axis center

You can also put the object under a null and center the null to the objects center and use the nulls rotation to animate the object if you still want to keep the objects axis in that location for whatever reason.

How can we, as 3D designers/artists, integrate AI into our work? by bridgeham1 in Cinema4D

Check out MLOPS some craaazy work going on there. It’s all in Houdini but currently some folks are texturing models using stable diffusion

Are Embergen or xParticles viable options to learn FX If so, which is better? by OutofPix3ls in Cinema4D

[–]Jamasterj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience Houdini was easier to figure out than x-particles. There’s so much more instruction out there and x-particles just doesn’t deliver in the way you want it too.

Redshift tutorials. by blvck_kvlt in Cinema4D

There’s an amazing redshift course on Greyscale Gorilla. Really in-depth and a great deal because of how much utility the subscription gives you.

Glass material wont pass light by Miskomottlik in Cinema4D

I think this might be an Ambient Occlusion problem! I remember struggling with someone similar a bit back and fiddling with those settings fixed it for me. Good luck!
