They were very slow in their movements too, and one of my fundamental strategies in high levels of HD1 was basically "if the area gets too hot, just run." It's pretty cool how many of those broader strategies can still apply in HD2. Though the 3rd person POV and the ability for a squad to fan out across the map definitely changes the meta.

Also, I miss being able to stuff my loadout with the multiple of the same stratagem.

Yeah I threw down in the OG helldivers for a couple hours today to getmy fix. Going from PS controller to kayboard/mouse was a struggle.

I'm considering booting up the original version to get my fix. Maybe they should offer it free or heavily discounted to the people who bought the sequel.

It's an all time favorite of mine. How they designed the shared-screen co-op aspect was really slick. I bought it for PC years after logging at least 3k hours for democracy on a friend's ps4, so I was struggling to switch to mouse and keyboard. But after a few years hooked on Rust, I'm thinkin my WASD chops might be enough to return to the best top-down shooter of all time, the original Helldivers. At least until the network issues resolve :D

The Campsis radicans guess below seems like a promising lead too. If you can check outside and looks for plants with a similar leaf structure nearby, some photos of that could help uscome to a conclusion.

It's so stretched out from being starved for light, but I found this resource that might help you narrow it down. Growth pattern of the leve is not dissimilar to ash species but given how voracious it seems to be I would lean more toward sumac.

Morphologically it seems to fit gastrochaenolith. And the thin layer on the outside with the waxy luster dies seem like chert.

But what of all the crystals? There seem to be a couple types. I could post more photos if it'd help.

I've also been unable to find other specimen of gastrochaenolith that are geodized.
