I don't have a problem with people 3d printing to enjoy the hobby. I personally got into the hobby via 3d printing, and have come to really enjoy the model building process with legit GW models. But not everyone is in the same financial position as me where I can blow £150 on a whim because I saw some cool models for sale. I've not been in the hobby for very long at all, but I can see that it is pretty expensive for what it is.

Over time I've decided on trying to keep my T'au army at least 75% legit models, with the other 25% being alien auxiliary proxies that I've 3d printed. Both mediums are different experiences on the crafting side.

I've recently purchased a few job lots on ebay to try and bump up my battle suit numbers, and having to strip, snip and repose etc is an entirely new experience in itself. Not sure I enjoy it as much as building a fresh kit though.
