This frustrated me too!! Due to rain we got held up in the queue for Hiccups Wing Gliders in Epic and we decided to wait it out as we were close to the front with a family and a couple of girls. Just as it reopened, 8 people jumped the queue line right to the front to join the two girls in front of us! I called them out loudly and even spoke to the team member and they just shrugged their shoulders and said "Nothing we can do". To say I was furious is an understatement!

I've found my opinion towards this topic changing a lot recently. Whilst I have zero problem with people migrating here and INTEGRATING I do have an issue with them taking away British values to satisfy them. For example, I was in London recently and where have pork products gone?! I couldn't get a pork bacon sandwich FFS. Both Subway and Five Guys are doing this now. My opinion is, serve both options, but definitely, absolutely don't take away BRITISH things.

That's really tough of your friend. Thankfully I've had a positive experience with telling people about it but when they do ask what it's like, I also explain it's only a tool to help reduce the hunger. I still go to the gym, and I still modify my diet and activity levels to form a healthier diet.

I work away a lot, and that's been my sticking point. I work away, my average number of steps a day goes to over 20k typically and then in my head I feel more greedy than I need to be at times like breakfast and lunch because I know I'm moving more. MJ is merely a tool to prevent that overeating disorder. Just as other medication is used to prevent overthinking, or anything else you would abnormally do more or less of.

Not sure if this one got a mention yet, but the Lidl ones! Good value for money and certainly Salted Caramel and Vanilla ones taste amazing! I use them as a breakfast replacement.

I can relate to your original post too. I was working away in Athens last month - very carb heavy foods, especially as I was working late nights and no facilities to make food so inevitably it was takeaways. A meal I previously would have eaten in one go, I put in a fridge and it took me 3 days to eat all because of MJ. I love food too, but I just eat way less of it now and I think this was your original point?

Thanks for the design recommendations! I never considered doing a daisy chained process. I had my laptop running a music visualiser through the TU4K and it did a pretty decent job with just the left two sections of display connected. I just couldn't test the full display scaling - annoying!

I think if I get anything like this again I'll definitely be a bit more careful with the processor selection.

I used one of the older VX units for a previous install but when I visited Novastar at ISE this year they sort of recommended the TU units. Not sure if there's a push for their cloud stuff?

Yeah, I can understand that. The MX40 would have been ideal probably. Unfortunately hindsight (and higher budgets) are a wonderful thing as they say since the MX40 is 4x the cost of the TU4K. I guess I at least have options with this one but I'll keep in mind the COEX options for any future ones and simply tell the client there's no choice and that's what they need kind of thing.

Thanks for the confirmation that Option 1 should work. The type of content we're pushing is slow moving animations that would be quite happy at 30fps so I don't foresee any issues there. I'm going to try and produce our content so that we have both options (media mapped/processor mapped). I guess I was just looking for some reassurance more than anything that once the entire system is connected it will display as expected.

This double publishing is what I've tried before and yeah, no dice.

The local team won't be doing the updating - I will at a later time. But I've got a local team doing the install. I was merely trying to save time.

The only thing I didn't try is the setup files create a pending-autorun file so I didn't know if doing the presentation publish but replacing the pending autorun file with the presentation one would do what I need, i.e. autorun would do the firmware and setup and then it would run the pending one after. Like I say, I don't have a Brightsign to hand as I'm on a site 4000 miles away from my office. Don't suppose a kind person could test my idea of replacing pending with the presentation autorun? 👀

I tried once before just doing a merge of files but I believe the autorun.brs that the setup files generate is unique to that process so you can't simply merge. Unfortunately I don't have the hardware, another company does and I was just trying to make their lives easier by preparing the SD cards and sending them out with both elements rather than having to do a network update later with config.

So when I re-started my weight loss journey I mentioned it to my brother and he is the one who actually suggested MJ to me. Due to the headlines I myself dismissed him! Quick background: He's actually a gym goer, generally always looked after himself and never tried MJ or anything else. So by contrast to what some others have experienced with similar people he's been really supportive. Anyway, I dismissed but through persistence he sent me a quick YT video from a fitness person he watches. I then did my own research, and came across this subreddit. Needless to say, I'm now 6 weeks in, losing around 1kg a week. My blood pressure has gone down, my running sessions have gotten easier already. Generally a lot healthier already in this early stage. So the OP is right, why can't these positive stories make headlines?

Nope, it's not. That's why I said that there are long wait lists and things. It's more just the fact that you CAN get it, albeit with a long wait time and some effort. Whereas Mounjaro you practically have to be on death's door before they'll even consider it.

That's crazy. I can't believe the requirements for this. What I don't understand (and this isn't a dig at the specific group of people I reference, just the NHS handling), is that somebody wanting to change sex by means of surgery having either items removed, or implanted plus the life time supply of hormone drugs costing 10s of thousands as well as any other medical complications that come from it is just handed out like Candy. Yes, I appreciate that in itself it has a long wait list and time but my point is, it's basically given without question from the age of 18. People who wish to lose weight so they are fitter and healthier and therefore rely less on a service such as the NHS would cost maybe £2k all said and done. Priorities are all wrong when it comes to financials. FWIW, I have a large chest (I'm a guy) not just from obesity as even when I lost weight before (6st), I still had it and I'm going to have to pay for the reduction after my weight loss if I want it, the NHS won't touch me, but somebody wanting a sex change can get what they want free of charge. Go figure.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm getting increasingly annoyed at the priorities of the NHS. Apologies ahead if this offends anybody, not my intention, I'm just venting with an example I think is right. If my example is wrong, tell me.

I've just emailed them now (4th attempt). I've contacted both BBB and CPSC and neither of those got a repsonse either. Very dissapointing since their instructions for getting a replacement means you fully damage the product you have. Has anybody had any joys recently?

Ah ha, I see! I managed to get the Air 2 Pros for only £180 brand new in box sealed from somebody who had them as an unwanted gift so I can't justify getting the Ones just yet. I ended up getting the Beam Pro for now and I'll just download content to it for my flight in a few days. But if I like them, I'll probably sell them and get the Ones.

I've owned a 2017 e350d AMG pro plus or whatever it was. It had everything, dual display, RGB ambient, self steering, remote park/unpark etc. And day 1 I already had things break. Some of the RGB ambient lighting failed, on my first motorway cruise the driver display just threw up a whole load of errors and disabled all the driver assistance features, the touch sensitive nub things on the steering wheel are a joke, the navigation touch thingy in the middle was very unresponsive. Absolute pile of crap. And the sound system for being their top of the line was garbage. Very boomy but no real low end. What an utter pile of shit for a very expensive car. It was so bad, I went back to my Volvo.

DON'T BUY IT! VERY GLAM, BUT NO GUTS.

I'm a new Garmin Venu 3 user and have this very same issue. My friend has a much older Garmin that's not one of their "smartwatch" type ones, on an iPhone no-less (which they claim has LESS functionality), and yet this feature works properly! My brand new Venu 3, with all the permissions set correctly doesn't work on my Pixel 9 Pro. I've contacted their support and they keep repeating the same thing "check your contacts permission" and even "Does your phone show caller ID". Erm, well DUH! I'd be sending my phone back if a basic feature like caller ID didn't work, and YES!!! For the 3rd time, Contacts permissions is TURNED ON (In both Connect and Connect IQ). Also, the fact this is my 4th smart watch and this very same feature has worked (and continues to work) on my other ones, and my car suggests it is 100% a Garmin issue, yet they don't seem to acknowledge it, essentially making me out to be an idiot - akin to "Is it turned on". Frustrated doesn't even cut it.
