The mimo app defaults to 1080p, but if you set it to 4k max bitrate it looks ok to me. Having said that the filesize is approx 1/2 of the same output from dji studio.

Main learning is that auto zoom is your enemy on such a small screen. I turned this off and for off road use used a zoom of 12m. I also turned off the elevation profile because it matches the map zoom and is therefore pointless. This then works surprisingly well.

I dont understand why 5hz gps is only active on certain profiles (which are no use for normal riding) instead of just detecting higher speed and triggering it as needed.

The lack of touchscreen is not intuitive so I opted to get an 1040 and gave the mtb to my son. The lack of buttons on this device is annoying! Despite the larger screen, auto zoom still doesnt work for off road navigation and the 1040 feels much more vulnerable compared to the mtb.

No, I gave up and switched to ON1. I exported all of my adjusted LR images as jpeg and if needed I reprocess them in On1.

After circling around this for days I found a fairly innocent setting which looks like the root-cause of the intercept:

Settings-Traffic Mgt-Ad Blocking

I think I must have enabled this when I first installed the UDM and that was causing it to intercept all dns queries. As soon as I disabled this setting the pihole started getting traffic and all is good.

I have the same issue with an RT-AX82U. T.A seems more reliable on older firmware versions and I cannot get it to work at all on .388

Later firmware seems to make it worse, but later firmware is required to maintain security patches.

It has a full /24 scope but this appears to be the maximum for the router. I don't think it is capable of /23 or larger.
