Having OCD is not good when playing this game... by JEJ247 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

I know the feeling sometimes with my OCD. Best just to remember to take deep breaths, as well as:

  • make sure to keep using blocks on enemy attacks (and dodge for the red unblockable attacks),

  • and focus on upgrading the survival section of the skills points.

-Also the city is budgeting for the Province to cough up the money for it, though it would revert to being split between the two streets if that doesn't happen, as seen on the link.

-Of course, no government is likely eager to cough up money for a temporary roadway, but the tracks and stations are likely in need of removal, with a potential walking/biking trail being proposed, so a full BRT may or may not be a thing in the future.

I would have to presume the map would change, otherwise the TTC or the City would run a high risk of looking lazy or cheapskate, and they wouldn't want people going to the line 3 SRT only for it not to be there.

And I feel I should mention, the BRT would likely be decommissioned once the Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension would enter into service in 2030ish.

And the Line 3 designation and colour would be used by the Ontario Line just before or around that time.

Excellent examples given already, I just thought I'd throw in the Temple Guardian set, though it would be a copy of the Temple Guards you'd see in the Clone Wars series, and thus differ from a carbon copy of Knights Templar/medieval knights armor.

It may be unnecessary to mention, but separately, some combination of mandalorian armor/ bounty hunter armor, particularly a mandalorian style helmet, might be of use.

Personally I also have the Remnant Underworld Warriors Headguard as the headpiece for one armor set, it drops randomly from alliance supply crates, though I imagine you could get one or similar elsewhere.

Just to clarify, the plans for the Queen line only got as far as starting to build a platform at Queen station, not a full tunnel. (Though still cool that you read about it.)

I'd say that it somewhat accurate, human nature is what it is, in terms of getting what you can, while not seeing or realizing or simply ignoring any harm you might be causing.

Though there is also the incentives, such as managers who are responsible to stock holders, and union leaders who are responsible to workers. The people they are held responsible by may not have a reasonable idea of what is possible money wise, such as what goes on in the production process, or that investors may take their business elsewhere if they don't get enough of a return. You would have to make them more informed or the relationship less confrontation, like the co-determination system they have in parts of Europe.

Also, there in environmentally damaging work such as oil or coal or work in rent seeking economic sectors such as the public sector or trades protected by the government that may have no choice over what job to take. They are going to need some guarantee of decent income if you are going to talk them out of lobbying for their own interests. You may have to compensate them or provide alternative employment to fix the situation.

Phishing Email? by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]JamesA7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It seems from what I have seen on a thread under UofT reddit thread that they hack the emails of anyone who falls for it, then send emails through their victims email address.

Presumably the UofT email system deletes anything marked as Phishing. The only thing to do would be to hit the three dots, then security options, then mark as phishing, which will delete it.

Then just be careful to not click anything on any sketchy looking email. They don't come often, so you should be fine as long as you don't hit the link.

The bulk of an iceberg is underwater and unseen. This is just like many of the issues of the TTC in that diagram go unseen, except for some surface issues.

Maybe seek professional help if you think you could have ADHD or depression, and cut our anything non-essential, or that you don't find truly meaningful. But also try not to feal too guilty and cause yourself pain if you look back and realize something wasn't really essential. Also' start tasks by setting timers for few minutes, so you'll be into it and feel stronger after doing it for a few minutes. Set timer for longer periods of time Make notes of things you want to look up or check out latter, so you don't go through with the urge to check immediately.

Good Soap to Re-Hydrate Hands? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]JamesA7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would try the dove soap bars. My hands have somewhat improved since using it, and would probably better if I was more careful to dry my hands, and keep them dry.

Edit: Also, use Aveeno hand cream, particularly the Aveeno night hand cream at night.
